Richard: The last thing Luke Shaw needs for this game, the season and his standing in José's eyes is another injury.

Sahil Oberoi: I honestly think Jose will ship out Shaw in the summer, he has no time for bench-warmers, regardless of their talent.

Swansea are continuing to pop the ball around smartly.

Stephen Kingsley gets a low cross in despite the attentions of Jesse Lingard down the Swansea left. Eric Bailly is well placed though and hoofs clear.

Luke Shaw's been so unlucky with injuries and then when he did come back he got criticised by his manager. Manchester United bought him for about £30m and yes, maybe they would expect a bit more. But it's not Shaw's fault they paid that for him.

That early change has prompted a re-jig in the United defence.

Ashley Young has swapped across to left-back with Antonio Valencia taking up the right-back duties.

It looks like Luke Shaw's game is finished. I'm not too sure what's happened but it's concerning to see him badly hurt when there was no-one near him.

This does not look good for Luke Shaw.

The United defender appears to have picked up an ankle knack.

He is hobbling to the sidelines and Antonio Valencia is going to come on in his place.

This is only Shaw's ninth start in the league this season. His Old Trafford career has been taxiing without ever taking off.

The first effort on goal and it comes from the visitors as Kyle Naughton and Ki Sung-yeung overload United left-back Luke Shaw.

Ki's sharp shot from a tight angle is always rising though and clears the bar by a good couple of yards.

David de Gea might well have had it covered.

Swansea are playing at a good pace, they're nice and sharp. This is a good positive start from Paul Clement's side. He's probably looked at Manchester United's side and thought: We've a good chance of causing an upset.

Jordan Ayew has been pushed up, not quite alongside but not far off, Fernando Llorente.

It is pretty much a classic two-pronged attack with Gylfi Sigurdsson just behind.

The Swans have had most of the ball in the opening four minutes.

    Man United 0-0 Swansea

Swansea are not sitting back early on.

Kyle Naughton gets down the right flank and floats a cross towards the edge of the area.

Fernando Llorente's control lets him down however and Daley Blind and Eric Bailly - United's centre-back pairing - hustle him out of it.

A nod from the Old Trafford MC and the two teams stride out to the sound of the Stone Roses' This Is The One.

Swansea manager Paul Clement, on BT Sport: "We know we've only got four games to go now, it's a big ask to come here but we're in a positive mood after last week. Hopefully we've turned the corner.

"That result made a big difference, picking up one point from the six games before, that was really disappointing. If we hadn't won things would be very difficult for us now. It's always going to be tough coming here. Their team still looks very good to me."

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho, on BT Sport: "The situation is not easy for us. but the reality is we have two competitions to play for and we have to go with everything we have. Today we focus on the match against an opponent that needs points we also need.

"We are rotating players. We dont have many to do it but Wayne Rooney and Ashley Young, Jesse Lingard, Luke Shaw - they didn't play the last match so at least we have four fresh players. Juan Mata is coming back on the bench, a good effort to be ready as soon as possible. I think Paul [Pogba] also will be ready for our next match. We will fight with everything we have."

Part of any legacy left behind by David de Gea at Old Trafford - along with the saves and misfiring fax machines -  will be the phrase "uglier than the back of a fridge".

Jose Mourinho shuffles his depleted squad once more, no doubt with half an eye on Thursday's Europa League semi-final against Celta Vigo.

Wayne Rooney returns to captain the side, while there's a boost on the bench as Juan Mata, previously thought to be out for the season with a groin injury, is back.

The Spaniard is alongside Scott McTominay, a 20-year-old midfielder promoted from the United reserves.

Paul Clement's most relevant experience for today's encounter might not be anything he learned on the coaching staff at Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Paris St Germain, but as a West Brom fan.

The 44-year-old was in the away end at Old Trafford 12 years ago, watching his brother Neil play for West Bromwich Albion in their bid to pull off the most dramatic of escapes from relegation.

"It was 1-1 and proved to be a massive point," Clement recalls.

"I was sitting up in the corner with the West Brom fans, went up from London on the train. I was a coach at Fulham in the academy at the time.
