Spurs are, of course, moving back to within four points of leaders Chelsea with this win. If they win - still plenty of time for Arsenal to fight back.

    They are readying Danny Welbeck.

Arsenal have to give it absolutely everything... And just see what happens. Spurs need to be careful they don't get too carried away with the occasion and keep their discipline.

Arsene Wenger is being implored to stay - but by the Spurs fans. Will he be here next season?

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at White Hart Lane

Spurs hit Arsenal with the old one-two - and manager Mauricio Pochettino pumps his fists towards his players as they make their way back for the re-start following Harry Kane's penalty.

He is not giving up on the Premier League title and neither is White Hart Lane judging by the thunderous noise.

Just 146 seconds separated Spurs' two goals.

17 points separate the two teams as it stands...

Jay: Kane was kicked on his shin. How is that a dive?

Ian Funnell: Sums up our season. Look okay for a bit and then fall apart in spectacular fashion.

Was it contentious? Looked clear to me.

Is that the game gone away from Arsenal? Well they come again and Eric Dier's mistake lets in Olivier Giroud, but he can't capitalise.

An absolute killer for Arsenal. The penalty is massively contentious. Harry Kane initiates the contact - Gabriel is moving away.

But it was put away brilliantly by Kane. Petr Cech had no chance - right inside the post.

  10. goal

Kane on the spotpublished at 17:48 British Summer Time 30 April 2017

    Tottenham 2-0 Arsenal

It was Gabriel who cleaned out Harry Kane inside the area, as clear a penalty as you will see, and the England man makes no mistake with a low penalty into the corner.

A Spurs win means that they will finish above the Gunners. It looks very likely now.

As Christian Eriksen's shot after a great run rebounds off Petr Cech, Dele Alli is there.

Tottenham, it's been deflection after deflection in favour of them all afternoon so far, they've certainly had the rub of the green.

Alli wants itpublished at 17:45 British Summer Time 30 April 2017

Poor from the Arsenal defence, who are all static as Spurs keep moving. Dele Alli starts it with a burst into the area, he finds Christian Eriksen, who weaves past one man and shoots.

The ball breaks out and Alli reacts first, prodding in past a dreadful attempted clearance by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain!

I don't think Tottenham are going to catch Chelsea. But a draw for Arsenal is not good enough. At some point they are going to have to throw caution to the wind and go all out chasing the win.

  17. Postpublished at 54 mins

Son is caught offside as Spurs come in waves again. It's been a weekend of few home goals, but a Tottenham strike does feel at least achievable.

  18. CLOSE!published at 52 mins

    Tottenham 0-0 Arsenal

Arsenal win a corner, headed on and Olivier Giroud gets under it and fires a volley high, wide and not as handsome as the man himself.

Tom: This is starting to feel like a one goal kind of game.

Jon Connor: A goalless draw will do us very nicely, signed totally unbiased Chelsea fan.

Jack Igglesden: Liverpool simply HAVE to capitalise on this weekends results (should they remain the same). But knowing us, we won't.

Spurs have definitely stepped on the gas since the interval. Another clean break ends with Harry Kane spinning away from a defender and lacing a left-footed shot straight at Petr Cech from 25 yards. Goal on the way?
