Everybody seemed to stop as the ball broke clear for Victor Wanyama, who struck it first time towards the top corner - Petr Cech did brilliantly to tip it over.

    A worrying time for Arsenal...

  2. GREAT SAVE!published at 48 mins

    Tottenham 0-0 Arsenal

Lovely effort! Spurs break after Alexis Sanchez's cross is poked clear and they do some damage, Son foraging for the free ball 30 yards from goal and then teeing up Victor Wanyama to his left. The Kenyan runs onto the ball, doesn't try to take the cover off it, just bends a precise shot on goal and Petr Cech tips it away!

From the corner Son shoots into the side netting.

Tottenham have to find a way to win this north London derby in the next 45 minutes or realistically the game is up as far as their Premier League title challenge is concerned.

    Tottenham 0-0 Arsenal

It was a very stern looking Arsene Wenger who made his way out of the tunnel after his players. A rocket at half time?

If there was it hasn't had an immediate effect. All Tottenham so far.

If you're of a certain age then Jurgen Klinsmann's arrival in the Premier League was a massive, massive deal. A game-changer.

Mesut Ozil is not strengthening his hand in his Arsenal contract negotiations so far.

The Germany international managed just 16 touches in the first half - the lowest of any Arsenal player.

This is the impact he has had on the Spurs half.

(For balance that is the same number of touches as Dele Alli has had in the opening half)

It's been an intriguing first half. Both teams have had chances - Spurs the better of them - but neither side's particularly dominated.

Arsenal have looked nervy when Spurs have got the ball in the box, swinging at the ball erratically. But the Gunners have really been on the front foot, working really hard.

Mickey Wallis: There's no pressure at all on Spurs at the back with Giroud up front. Asking to be beaten. Makes no sense to select him.

Jos: Only positive for Arsenal is Olivier Giroud's beard.

Noel Fitzpatrick: Another draw here will do nicely, thank you very much! Kind regards, Jurgen Klopp.

It looked like he was being forced off injured a few minutes ago, but instead Jan Vertonghen goes close to the opener with a low shot from 25 yards, on his right foot, which forces Petr Cech into a sprawling save.

Dele Alli then heads one at Cech, but the flag was up.

You can see why Pep Guardiola would be interested in taking Alexis Sanchez to Manchester City. The work rate, the chasing down of lost causes, and then when he does get on the ball he always provides real quality. He is the danger for Arsenal.

If it stays like this then the Blues will have a six-point lead with 12 to play for.

Maggie in Lowestoft: I fear for spurs playing at Wembley next season. Its a shame to not have their home base to push on after some outstanding football this season. As much as it pains me to say it, Wenger may be right about Wembley for Spurs.
