Aston Villa v Norwich: Full-back Neil Taylor is included for the hosts after a turbulent week following his red card for Wales for a foul that broke Seamus Coleman's leg. Nathan Baker and Scott Hogan return along with Henri Lansbury in midfield; Norwich make just the one change, Graham Dorrans for Wes Hoolahan.

Brentford v Bristol City: The Bees make one change as Rico Henry returns; Bristol City name the same side that beat Huddersfield 4-0 last time out.

Brighton v Blackburn: The Seagulls make two changes, with Sebastien Pocognoli and Chuba Akpom replacing Fikayo Tomori and Sam Baldock; Blackburn name an unchanged side, as striker Danny Graham (groin) remains out.

    Elsewhere in the Championship

Away from the promotion and relegation battles, Aston Villa host a managerless Norwich side who still have some hope of making a late push for the play-off places.

Meanwhile, Mark Warburton takes his 20th-placed Nottingham Forest side to Preston, who are level on points with the Canaries.

Elsewhere, Ipswich host Birmingham, with both sides urgently needing to move themselves further away from the relegation places, while Brentford host Bristol City, Wolves welcome Fulham to Molineux and bottom-club Rotherham must beat Fulham at home to avoid being relegated today.

    Huddersfield v Burton (15:00 BST)

And the 21st-placed Brewers are away to Huddersfield today, making their first ever league visit to the John Smith's Stadium.

They'll be hoping not to be on the receiving end of a backlash from David Wagner's side, after Terrier's surprise 4-0 thumping at the hands of Bristol City two weeks ago.

That result may have dented Huddersfield's promotion hopes somewhat, but they are still only six points below the automatic promotion places as things stand - with a game in hand on their rivals.

  4. Brighton bid to bounce backpublished at 14:40 British Summer Time 1 April 2017

    Brighton v Blackburn (15:00 BST)

After a 2-0 loss at Leeds last time out, Brighton are hoping to return to winning ways as they host Blackburn this afternoon.

But things won't come easy for them against a Rovers side who are still yet to lose under new boss Tony Mowbray.

In his first seven games since replacing Owen Coyle, Mowbray has overseen two wins and five draws, but they are still in the relegation zone as things stand, one point below Burton.

    Newcastle v Wigan (15:00 BST)

The two sides meeting at St James' Park this afternoon could hardly have had more contrasting season.

Leaders Newcastle will expect nothing less than a home win this afternoon as they look to stay top of the table and keep a healthy gap between themselves and third-placed Huddersfield.

The visitors Wigan, who are seven points below the drop zone in 23rd place with just eight games to play, are desperate for any points that might give them hope of avoiding relegation.

    FT: Barnsley 1-1 Sheff Wed

With that draw, Wednesday move two points clear of seventh-placed Fulham, who will now have the chance to leapfrog them and move into the play-off places this afternoon if they can beat bottom-club Rotherham.

For mid-table Barnsley, the point lifts them above Aston Villa into 11th.

A terrific finish to the game at Oakwell and it's honours even between these South Yorkshire rivals.

The Owls took the lead when ex-Barnsley man Sam Winnall tapped into an empty net after a mix up at the back.

That looked likely to be enough but Angus MacDonald, who signed a new contract with the Tykes this week, popped up to equalise in time added on.
