No wonder Rafael Benitez is looking slightly pensive. His Newcastle side are finding Burton a tough proposition to break down.

Intense is not a word you would use to describe this game at present. That will suit the visitors. Newcastle want this game to heat up a bit. We've had 26 minutes so far.

    Newcastle 0-0 Burton

Hopefully this is just a bit of a slowburner, because there is a fairly slow tempo to it with little more than quarter of an hour gone.

Not much by way of atmosphere, perhaps the nerves are starting to get to the Newcastle faithful given Brighton's result last night.

The hosts have had a couple of decent set-pieces, while Jackson Irvine whacked a shot over the top as Burton flexed their muscles a bit too.

    Sheffield United 0-0 Coventry

There's an interested spectator at Sheffield United's game with Coventry this evening.

Kell Brook will be defending his world boxing title at Bramall Lane in May, and he's hoping to see the Blades strike the final knockout blow in their League One promotion bid today.

    After a 15-minute delay to kick-off, they're under way.

    Oxford 1-1 Fleetwood

Curtis Nelson fires Oxford level within two minutes of Bobby Grant's penalty to restore parity at the Kassam Stadium.

No doubt that'll filter through to the crowd at Bramall Lane pretty soon. That game between Sheffield United and Coventry City gets underway at 20:00 BST.

Newcastle United have an early penalty shout, not that Keith Stroud is having any of it, and the ball eventually goes behind for a Burton goal-kick.

Other than that, the most excitement we've had is when a clearance to touch pinged off the head of an unsuspecting fan. Much mirth around St James'.

  10. Fleetwood in frontpublished at 19:52 British Summer Time 5 April 2017

    Oxford 0-1 Fleetwood

Sheffield United need Fleetwood to lose if they're going to be promoted from League One this evening.

Well the Lancashire side have taken the lead at Oxford with a Bobby Grant penalty.

The Blades' promotion party may have to wait for a while.

  11. Huddersfield hit the postpublished at 19:50 British Summer Time 5 April 2017

    Huddersfield 0-0 Norwich

Philip Billing hits the post for Huddersfield!

The midfielder strikes a drilled shot from the edge of the box and Norwich are relieved to see the ball bounce clear to safety.

    An eventful start in Yorkshire.

In a couple of hours' time, Sheffield United could become the first EFL club to be promoted this season.

  16. Hogg returns for Huddersfieldpublished at 19:40 British Summer Time 5 April 2017

    Huddersfield v Norwich (19:45 BST)

Football fans everywhere must surely be delighted to see Jonathan Hogg back in Huddersfield's starting line-up.

There were real fears that he would face a lengthy absence when he suffered a serious-looking injury in the Terriers' defeat at Bristol City on 17 March.

The initial diagnosis was that Hogg had suffered a fractured neck in a collision with a team-mate, but scans later proved those initial findings to be incorrect and he was cleared to return to training at the start of April.

  17. Team newspublished at 19:38 British Summer Time 5 April 2017

    Huddersfield v Norwich (19:45 BST)

Huddersfield four changes to the team that lost to Burton on Saturday. Among the players coming in is midfielder Jonathan Hogg, who is fit again after a neck problem and replaces the suspended Dean Whitehead.

Meanwhile, Norwich have made three changes from the side beaten at Aston Villa. Timm Klose, Steven Naismith and Yanic Wildschut all start for the Canaries.

Huddersfield:  Ward, Smith, Hefele, Schindler, Lowe, Hogg, Mooy, Van La Parra, Billing, Kachunga, Wells.

Norwich:  McGovern; Martin, Bennett, Klose, Whittaker, Tettey, Howson, Wildschut, Pritchard, Naismith, Jerome.

    Huddersfield v Norwich (19:45 BST)

As for Norwich, it's not just Saturday that they would like to forget - it's probably the whole season.

The campaign promised so much and, in October, they were well in the mix for promotion straight back into the Premier League following relegation last term.

But they went on a miserable run, slid slowly down the table, sacked their manager Alex Neil - and yet with seven games left to play, they're still not completely out of the running for a play-off place.

Admittedly, they would probably need to win at least six of their last seven matches, but anything is possible in this league.

    Huddersfield v Norwich (19:45 BST)

Saturday's home defeat by Burton was a game that Huddersfield Town will quickly want to forget.

Midfielder Dean Whitehead was sent off in the closing stages and, to make matters worse, the Terriers conceded a 96th-minute goal to lose 1-0.

David Wagner's side have games in hand on the teams around them, but they have plenty of ground to make up on the top two and little time to do so.

A win against Norwich is, therefore, imperative for their chances of automatic promotion.
