  1. goal

GOAL: Northampton 1-1 Sheff Utdpublished at 16:23 British Summer Time 8 April 2017

    Leon Clarke

Could that be the goal that seals the deal for Sheffield United?

Leon Clarke has equalised for the Blades at Sixfields and, as it stands, they're heading up with room to spare.

And that is because Lee Erwin has fired Oldham into a 2-0 lead against Fleetwood in third, meaning even if the Blades lose to Northampton they're heading up to the Championship.

  2. goal

GOAL: Wigan 1-2 Rotherhampublished at 16:21 British Summer Time 8 April 2017

    Anthony Forde

This is not going well for Wigan Athletic, is it?

The Latics, in serious danger of the drop, are now 2-1 down to already-relegated Rotherham United thanks to Anthony Forde's goal.

  3. goal

GOAL: Burton 1-1 Aston Villapublished at 16:21 British Summer Time 8 April 2017

    Lloyd Dyer

Former West Brom and Birmingham man Lloyd Dyer has scored against Aston Villa.

And it could be a priceless goal for Burton! His brilliant volley has them level.

  4. goal

GOAL: Nottm Forest 2-0 Huddersfieldpublished at 16:19 British Summer Time 8 April 2017

    Jamie Ward

Oh my, it is turning into a enormous result at the City Ground. Jamie Ward doubles Forest's lead!

This would be Mark Warburton's first win in charge of the Reds.

Huddersfield's automatic promotion bid looks dead, it must be said.

Huddersfield have started the second half brightly at the City Ground.

If they can't turn this game around, is that automatic promotion all-but sealed for Brighton and Newcastle? Probably.

  6. CLOSE!published at 16:14 British Summer Time 8 April 2017

    Birmingham 0-1 Derby

Craig Gardner has a chance for Birmingham to level, but he fires low and wide on the rebound, after David Davis' initial effort was blocked.

  7. So what's what in League One and League Two?...published at 16:12 British Summer Time 8 April 2017

If results are the same at full-time then Sheffield United, who are losing 1-0 at Northampton, will be promoted. That is because nearest challengers Fleetwood, who are third, are also losing.

Second-placed Bolton are 1-0 down at Scunthorpe and Chesterfield, who are 11 points adrift of safety are drawing 0-0 with fellow strugglers Port Vale.

With Stevenage being given a thrashing at Colchester and Luton goalless at Barnet, Doncaster are promoted from League Two as it stands.

    Norwich 6-1 Reading

In case you've just joined us, Norwich have scored six goals already. That's the first time an EFL side has done that in one half of a league game since Portsmouth hammered York in 2015.

Thanks to our friends at Opta for that stat.

And here's another one from the Canaries themselves...

You're not wrong, Liam. Even those appropriately-named movies aren't as fast-paced as this crazy division.

Garry Monk's side are edging ever closer to securing a play-off spot. This would be a big win for them.

    Coventry 0-0 Peterborough

Craig Mackail-Smith's penalty is saved by Sky Blues keeper Lee Burge.

Coventry need to avoid defeat to stave off relegation for at least one more game - and that moment might've given them half a chance!
