    This is amazing, amazing stuff...

Swansea are defending well and are defending in numbers, but they are being pushed back by Everton, deeper and deeper. The Swans are doing well but just haven't got an outlet.

  4. Drama!published at 19:17 British Summer Time 6 May 2017

    Swansea 1-0 Everton

Everton youngster Jonjoe Kenny is rapid! Like a whippet. He's owning that right flank.

He earns Everton a corner, which comes to nothing. Now there's another one coming.

OH MY. NEARLY AN OWN GOAL FROM ALFIE MAWSON! He tries to clear and it skews across the face of the goal.

He looks like he's seen a ghost.

    No more Mr Nice Guys!

We've had no cards so far, but there's a wrestling match occuring between former Swansea man Ashley Williams and Fernando Llorente.

Referee Martin Atkinson has a word with them both but keeps his yellows away on this occasion.

  8. Postpublished at 83 mins

    Swansea 1-0 Everton

Everton are piling forward but Swansea aren't budging at the back.

Fernando Llorente, in the number nine shirt, becomes a make-shift right-back and clumsily clears but it does the job.

Leighton Baines then has a go from distance, but his effort bends well wide.

  9. CLOSE!published at 80 mins

    Swansea 1-0 Everton

After brilliant break from Everton, Romelu Lukaku has his best chance of the game.

He lets fly, full-throttle, from just outside the area but it hits the side netting.

Swansea breath a sigh of relief.

A great move by Swansea and a wonderful ball from Tom Carroll into the box.

An excellent effort from Leroy Fer who did well to keep the ball down, and it forced a wonderful save from Maarten Stekelenburg.

Mason Holgate makes way for young Jonjoe Kenny.

Mason Holgate makes a speculative punt towards Romelu Lukaku but it comes to nothing and now Swansea break!

A great ball in from Tom Carroll on the left. Leroy Fer is ready and waiting but Maarten Stekelenburg pulls off a great save to stop his effort.

The Swansea fans got excited there...

Fernando Llorente did well, climbing at the far post and hanging in the air before delivering his header. Swansea are doing well creating multiple corners and chances.

This 1-0 lead is not enough for the Swans and expect the nervousness to crank up with just 20 minutes to go. The players will, I expect, look tighter and more nervy as this game goes on.

  17. CLOSE!published at 69 mins

    Swansea 1-0 Everton

Two Sigurdsson corners, two chances for Swansea!

Fernandez sends a bullet header goal-bound but it comes off Ross Barkley's shoulder. The Everton sub knew nothing about that.

Then, Fernando Llorente rises high, but his header is saved by Stekelenburg.

You need to be scoring those, really.

    Swansea 1-0 Everton

It looks like Enner Valencia is going to be introduced for Everton.

One of the Toffees coaches has a massive marker pen out and is showing him some doodles. I assume it's instructions and not an awkwardly-timed game of pictionary.
