  1. Postpublished at 61 mins

    Swansea 1-0 Everton

Kevin Mirallas makes a brilliant break forward, finds Leighton Baines and the Everton defender whistles the ball across the box.

Once again, Swansea get it clear. They've been largely impressive at the back today. Can they sustain it?

Ooh, that came off the outside of Jordan Ayew's boot and his strike hit the post before going wide. That wasn't the cleanest of strikes but it nearly nestled in the corner.

  4. Postpublished at 56 mins

    Swansea 1-0 Everton

    Now Everton try their luck.

Romelu Lukaku finds Tom Davies lurking in a dangerous position. The blonde youngster tries to flick towards goal and it trickles wide.

  5. CLOSE!published at 55 mins

    Swansea 1-0 Everton

Off the post from Jordan Ayew!

Ki Sung-yeung drives the ball across goal, and as Everton captain Phil Jagielka tries to clear with his head, it falls into the path of Ayew.

He takes a swing and it bounces heavily off the right-hand side of the woodwork.

  6. Postpublished at 51 mins

    Swansea 1-0 Everton

Leon Britton brings down Tom Davies and Everton earn a free-kick about 35-yards out.

Ross Barkley swings it in...Phil Jagielka gets a couple of chances to head at goal before Gylfi Sigurdsson boots it clear.

Swansea looked a bit shaky in defence there. You can't be doing that when you're in their position.

  7. Postpublished at 48 mins

    Swansea 1-0 Everton

Ross Barkley immediately gets involved and enjoys some rough and tumble with little Leon Britton. Bit of a mis-match there.

Everton had one shot on target in the first half so they're going to want some creativity from Barkley in the next 40-odd minutes.

Zak: Is that the 'nicest' half of football ever from the Swans? Not a single foul, no cards, no offsides. Strange.

Nice = boring, though, doesn't it?

  9. KICK-OFFpublished at 18:32 British Summer Time 6 May 2017

    Swansea 1-0 Everton

The teams are back out and Ross Barkley is entering the fray for Everton. He replaces Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

    No changes for Swansea.

    We are back under way!

All matches kicked off at 17:30 BST.

  11. The biggest game of the season?published at 18:21 British Summer Time 6 May 2017

    Swansea 1-0 Everton

    Michael Pearlman

This has the feeling of being THE game that will decide Swansea's future.

The lift that Hull's defeat by Sunderland has provided can't be underestimated, particularly as the Swans appear to be inspired by it. They had maybe been the better side in a very even contest, but since Fernando Llorente's goal they have been dominant and might have added to the scoreline.

Perhaps most importantly, they have so far matched champions elect Chelsea in managing to shakle Romelu Lukaku. The most action the Belgium striker has seen is when a pitch invader entered the field of play to give him a cuddle, (or a cwtch, as we say down here).

  12. HALF-TIMEpublished at 18:17 British Summer Time 6 May 2017

    Swansea 1-0 Everton

Swansea earn a late corner. They'll just about have time to take it.

Sigurdsson right-foots it in, Federico Fernandez sends it behind the goal and that's the first half done.

A huge 45 minutes coming up now for the Swans.

  13. Postpublished at 44 mins

    Swansea 1-0 Everton

Everton get forward for the first time in a while. Leighton Baines' ball from the left goes in search of Romelu Lukaku but once again, Swansea clear the danger.

The hosts have looked in control for most of the first half.

The onus now is on Everton to get back into this game. They do of course have the dangerous Romelu Lukaku up front, and if that stays the way it is I wouldn't be surprised to see Ross Barkley brought on.

  16. Postpublished at 38 mins

    Swansea 1-0 Everton

Romelu Lukaku is in the box, balancing on the byline and tries to flick back to Idrissa Gueye, but it doesn't quite work out. Swansea clear.

The hosts spring forward again. Somehow Jordan Ayew wriggles clear of Jagielka and keeps the ball in play.

He finds Martin Olsson, who has a go from a tight angle and it goes miles over. It's probably in Cardiff by now.

Earlier, a bloke ran on the pitch. Why has he done that? He seemed to come from the Everton end and he ran on and hugged Romelu Lukaku.

I don't care if he's travelled here all the way from Liverpool - get him down the Swansea nick, feed him rice and water for a week and never let him in back in South Wales again!

  18. Bedlam at the Libertypublished at 18:05 British Summer Time 6 May 2017

    Swansea 1-0 Everton

The noise levels inside the Liberty Stadium were already enough to threaten anyone's hearing and Fernando Llorente's goal has cranked that up another level. It's been an even contest, but Everton look rattled for the first time.

  19. CLOSE!published at 33 mins

    Swansea 1-0 Everton

Swansea captain Leon Britton links up well with Sigursson, and the Iceland international whips the ball across the box.

Alfie Mawson is ready to pounce but young Mason Holgate makes an incredible tackle and Swansea have to settle for a corner. Brilliant work from the young Everton right-back.

That is something we have been crying out for, some movement up front!

Jordan Ayew made a run into the corner and lobbed the ball into the far post. The keeper was all over the place and Fernando Llorente was in the right place at the right time.

He could hardly miss but that's not the point - he was there and knocked it home, advantage Swansea! That goal has changed everything.
