It was a good save - he's such a top goalkeeper. I think Liverpool were lucky to get the penalty in the first place. 

James Milner has missed it! What a save from Fraser Forster. The Saints keeper goes low to his right, pushing out the Reds skipper's drive. Milner never misses penalties!

Saints are looking rock solid at the back.

James Milner has popped up in some decent positions on the left flank, and here he is again. Again he cuts onto his right foot, swinging in a teasing cross. Robert Firmino tries to reach it, but is levered out of the way by Ryan Bertrand and the ball flies out for a goal-kick. Good defending.

I don't mind balls going astray as long as it's positive. I'd rather lose the ball going forward than just go side to side.

Still not happening for Liverpool in the final third. The Reds have hogged over 65% of the ball, but they are lacking quality where it really matters. As exemplified by Emre Can's poor pass out for a goal-kick.

Adam Lallana gets a warm reception from the home fans as he limbers up down the Main Stand touchline. What sort of reception will he get from the away end, Saints fans?

If Lucas is trying to push forward, it means Liverpool are getting more and more frustrated. They're committing too many men.

They are straight on the front foot and attacking the end where their supporters are housed. Not Liverpool - Southampton.

The visitors win a couple of early corners in quick succession, but Simon Mignolet is not troubled.
