  1. 'Good banter'published at 17:23 British Summer Time 6 May 2017

    Hull City 0-2 Sunderland

    Sunderland

Sunderland defender Billy Jones, speaking to BBC Sport: "Jordan Pickford has showed today what a great prospect and keeper he is. He has been consistant throughout the season."

On fans singing about going up next season

"I did hear that. They have obviously got good banter. They obviously expect to be promoted next season and we hope to deliver that."

  2. 'Today we got a good result'published at 17:22 British Summer Time 6 May 2017

    Hull 0-2 Sunderland

    Sunderland

A pleased Sunderland manager, David Moyes, on 5 live Sport: "I think we have played really well in recent games and things haven’t gone well for us. In recent games opportunities haven’t fallen for us, but today it did do. I'm not putting it down to luck but you need small things to go for you. But I do say that our recent performances have merited more than we got, and today we got a good result.

"After being relegated players have to stand up and show some pride for the club, and today they have done that. We had a really good team performance. If we had shown the character and level of performance today throughout the season we'd have many more points."

  3. 'We have to be pleased with what we achieved'published at 17:20 British Summer Time 6 May 2017

    Leicester City 3-0 Watford

    Leicester City

Leicester City manager Craig Shakespeare tells BBC Sport: "I'm pleased with the result, the performance wasn't quite there but ultimately it is about the result and it is another clean sheet.

"When I took over, the most important thing was to be competitive, climb the table and never set a points target. Now mathematically we are safe. In football you have to try and win every game, of course it is difficult, but we have to be pleased with what we have achieved."

On picking up 22 points in 10 Premier League games since replacing the sacked Claudio Ranieri, Shakespeare adds: "It is not a bad return, but all the credit has to go to the players.

"The remit was to take it (the manager's job) until the end of the season and we will then sit down and discuss it. I've not been told anything else so that's what we will do."

  4. 'A terrible challenge'published at 17:18 British Summer Time 6 May 2017

    Bournemouth 2-2 Stoke

    Stoke City

Stoke boss Mark Hughes, speaking to BBC Sport: "Disappointed not to win but I thought it was a good performance. We had a gameplan to frustrate them and it worked. I think their first goal was offside, and we are disappointed the referee did not see fit to send one of their players early on in the game. A terrible challenge on Joe Allen, the lad was out of control.

"You saw the result for West Ham last night. By getting the three points they went up six places, it shows how close the middle group is. I felt we were the better side today."

  5. 'Now looking at the top 10'published at 17:17 British Summer Time 6 May 2017

    Bournemouth 2-2 Stoke

    Bournemouth

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe: "It means everything to the club to establish ourselves in the Premier League. It is an incredibly tough league as we found this year.

"It was a real challenge to break down Stoke but we made it harder for ourselves by twice having to come from behind.

"We have the same points total as last year so now we are looking to beat that and try and finish in the top 10."

On Harry Arter's challenge on Joe Allen: "A few years ago that would have been seen as an outstanding tackle but it is a difficult one, I think he got the ball flush but you don't want to see players hurt and I think the referee made the right call."
