    Barcelona remain three points behind Real Madrid - who also have a game in hand.

    Can Barca have a few days off to get their heads together now? Nope.

    On Tuesday, they go to Italy to face Juventus in the Champions League quarter-final first leg.

    Next Saturday, they host Real Sociedad in La Liga - before the return leg against Juventus and then EL CLASICO on Sunday, 23 April.

    Surely Barcelona have to win their last seven games now and hope Real slip up.

    Malaga have wrapped this game up right at the death. Do Real Madrid have one hand on the La Liga trophy?

    The hosts, who have been excellent, break forward in numbers. Charles clips the ball over the top to Pablo Fornals. He could go alone but instead pulls it back to Jony, who took a touch to compose himself. And lashed home.

  9. Malaga keeper Carlos Kameni - who has been something of a bogeyman for Barcelona in recent years - makes a great save to keep out Luis Suarez. He hasn't had to do too much today really but he had to stay alert to keep out the Uruguayan's effort from Javier Mascherano's pass.

  10. Every time Malaga break, they look like they're one through-ball away from breaching the Barcelona defence. The champions have been very poor tonight.

  11. YELLOW CARD

    Barcelona defender Javier Mascherano tries to clear the ball but just hoofs it up into the air. He fouls Charles while trying to make up for his mistake. Another booking for the visitors.

  12. Recio is hobbling - cramp maybe? - but Malaga have used all their three substitutions so he limps back into the game.

  13. It's end to end now. Malaga's players look exhausted mind. They have two down on the pitch in apparent pain at the moment.

    Malaga's Juan Carlos, who appeared to hurt himself while fouling Lionel Messi, is replaced by Jony.

  15. As things stand, Real Madrid are three points clear at the top with a game in hand on Barcelona. The Catalans really need a goal here (well they really need two).

    Malaga's Juan Carlos fouls Lionel Messi and is booked. The free-kick comes to nothing though.

  17. Good defending from Barca defender Samuel Umtiti to deny Malaga a chance for number two. 

    Adalberto Penaranda breaks from halfway and against another Barcelona defender he might have been in, but Umtiti is fast enough - and strong enough - to stop him.

  18. This is a great game to watch. Malaga break immediately from that Lionel Messi free-kick and Charles shoots straight at keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen after taking a poor first touch when he was free in the box.

  19. Lionel Messi, who hasn't had a great game, just rifles the ball off the feet of the wall. Did he think they were all going to jump?

  20. PENALTY APPEAL

    Barcelona want a penalty, but they've got a free-kick. Charles - who has only been on the pitch seconds - brings down Sergi Roberto right on the edge of the box. It could have gone either way.
