Real Madrid make their first change - Marcelo comes on for Fabio Coentrao at left-back.
This was Coentrao's first La Liga start of the season.
James Rodriguez has a chance to equalise but his effort from 20 yards is held by goalkeeper Ivan Cuellar.
A reminder that Real Madrid don't even have Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale (who is injured) or Karim Benzema on the bench.
Mariano and Luka Modric are their main attacking options.
This lead has lasted longer than their last one already.
Mikel Vesga assisted the opener and now he scores Sporting Gijon's second with a brilliant header.
Jean-Sylvain Babin heads a cross back across goal, which Vesga gets his header onto - it loops up into the air, over keeper Kiko Casilla and into the top corner.

How are Real Madrid not ahead here? James Rodriguez whips in a free-kick and Nacho heads towards goal but Ivan Cuellar makes a fantastic save to keep it out.
The second half = under way.
