Granada 0-0 Celta Vigo
Celta Vigo having more of the possession, but not making enough of it at the m,oment. Facundo Roncaglia, attacking from centre-back, feeds a pass left that gives Theo Bongonda all the time he wants to cross. The Belgian responds by whacking the ball as if it were a rugby league conversion. No points.
Granada 0-0 Celta Vigo
Good chance for Celta Vigo. Claudio Beauvue is played in from the right and has a clear sight of goal, but blazes over at the near post. Don't think Adams would have enjoyed that defending. For one thing, the offside trap was nowhere to be seen.
Granada 0-0 Celta Vigo
Granada's Nigerian midfielder Uche Agbo fouls Theo Bongonda by the halfway line, and the referee gives Celta Vigo a free-kick. Adams, in the technical area, spreads his arms wide in a gesture of disbelief. He's really getting into this. I think it's taking all his effort not to run on to the pitch and stick in a couple of sliding challenges.
Granada 0-0 Celta Vigo
A bespectacled Tony Adams, patrolling his technical area, takes a swig of water. It's been an OK first 15 minutes for the new boss.
Granada 0-0 Celta Vigo
Ezequiel Ponce is sent clear and has a great chance to give Granada the lead, but the ball is just whipped off his toe as he prepares to shoot and Alvaro Lemos puts it out for a corner. Keeper Sergio Alvarez flaps at the resulting set-piece, and Artem Kravets hooks the loose ball over. Promising.
Granada 0-0 Celta Vigo
Eleven different nationalities in the Granada starting line-up, by the way: Mexico, Portugal, France, Iceland, Uruguay, Slovenia, Nigeria, Ghana, Ukraine, Argentina and Belgium. Plus an English manager. I suspect the team talk might have been conducted in semaphore.
Granada 0-0 Celta Vigo
Celta Vigo causing Granada problems here, even without all of their key players. Theo Bongonda, twisting down the left past Ruben Vezo, gets into space and whips a shot across goal.
Whatever Tony Adams was trying to get across to his players in that bewildering training video that's gone viral (come on, you've seen it), I'm not sure the message has got through as yet.
Granada 0-0 Celta Vigo
A painful moment for Granada captain Rene Krhin here as he gets a whack in the face following a challenge by Theo Bongonda, the Belgian winger. Krhin is bleeding and needs treatment, but is OK to continue.
Granada 0-0 Celta Vigo
Ezequiel Ponce, recalled to the Granada attack, makes a nuisance of himself and wins an early corner. They could do with Tony Adams at the near post to provide the flick-on for Steve Bould, but Andreas Pereira's delivery is cleared.
Granada 0-0 Celta Vigo
Granada have collected just one point from their last six matches. That has to improve if they are to stay in La Liga.
The home side are in red and white hoops with blue shorts, Celta Vigo are in sky blue.
Granada v Celta Vigo (19:45 BST)
The Europa League is definitely Celta Vigo's priority. They make 10 changes to the side who beat Genk in the first leg of their quarter-final on Thursday. Only goalkeeper Sergio Alvarez is retained. Jozabed, who will play in an attacking midfield role, is on loan from Fulham. Former Liverpool forward Iago Aspas, who will surely start next Thursday, is on the bench tonight.
Celta Vigo XI: Alvarez; Lemos, Gomez, Roncaglia, Planas; Pape, Diaz; Hjulsager, Jozabed, Bongonda; Beauvue.
Substitutes: Villar, Mallo, Fontas, Sene, Radoja, Sisto, Aspas.
Granada v Celta Vigo (19:45 BST)
What adds extra intrigue to tonight's game - and increases Adams' chances of starting with a win - is that Celta Vigo's focus is very much on the Europa League.
Eduardo Berizzo's side are 10th in La Liga, 19 points clear of the relegation zone and 12 adrift of the European qualification places. They go to Genk for the second leg of the Europa League quarter-final on Thursday, defending a 3-2 lead. Tonight's match is not high on their list of priorities.
Granada v Celta Vigo (19:45 BST)
Adams' first selection contains four changes to the team beaten 3-1 at home by Valencia last weekend; Ruben Velo and Gaston Silva step into the full-back positions, Rene Krhin is brought into midfield as captain and Ezequiel Ponce starts in attack. Andreas Pereira, on loan from Manchester United, starts. Chelsea loanee Jeremie Boga is on the bench.
Granada XI: Ochoa; Vezo, Saunier, Ingason, Silva; Krhin, Agbo, Mubarak; Kravets, Ponce, Pereira.
Substitutes: Silva, Lomban, Hector, Hongla, Samper, Carcela-Gonzalez, Boga.

A little background for you on how Adams came to Spain: He arrived last November, brought in by Granada's Chinese owners DDMC to carry out an audit of the club, who have been a bit of a mess this season. Sporting director Javier Torralbo was sacked in January, leaving behind a squad heavy on loanees.
When Lucas Alcaraz, their second coach of the season, was dismissed last weekend, Granada turned to Adams. A win tonight will move them to within four points of a position of safety - but he doesn't have much margin for error with so few games left.

One thing we can be sure of, it seems, is that Adams is not in this for the long haul. He was appointed Granada's head coach last week until the end of the season, and then will make way for someone else.
He has seven games to save them from the drop. And yes, that is Kieran Richardson beside him in training. Richardson and Nigel Reo-Coker are on trial with Granada at the moment; neither midfielder will be involved this evening.

Adams' record as a manager lags a long way behind what he achieved as a player. He won four league titles with Arsenal, and made their offside trap such a significant part of English culture that it became a plot point in The Full Monty.
As for his management career, there have been brief and unsuccessful spells in charge of Wycombe, Portsmouth and Azerbaijani side Gabala. So what can we expect now he has been placed at the helm of Granada? Tonight, we may find out.

"I didn't see this coming," said Tony Adams this week. No. None of us saw this coming. The bottom of La Liga just got a whole lot more interesting. Welcome along.
