I'll leave you with this image of the melee that followed Scott Brown's red card challenge on Liam Boyce.

It sums up the madness of the last few moments in Dingwall.

A valuable point for County but the penalty for the late equaliser was just ridiculous - as was Brown's ugly challenge.

Tune into Sportscene (BBC Two Scotland at 18:00) to see the action.

Enjoy the rest of your Easter Sunday...

    FT: Ross County 2-2 Celtic

Ross County goal hero Liam Boyce on BBC Sportsound:

"The Celtic players were all crowding round the ball and trying to delay it [the penalty] a bit and put pressure on but I was always thinking about sticking it to the bottom left."

On the red card for Scott Brown...

"I was waiting on the challenge coming, trying to buy us a free kick to take the pressure off. I didn't realise how strong he was coming in and thankfully my leg wasn't planted on the ground.

"It was a bad challenge - he caught me high up on the shin and it's swollen now. But listen, it happens in games. I caught him just before."

Pundits Steven Thompson and Michael Stewart will be reviewing the weekend action on Sportscene (BBC Two Scotland from 18:00). The last few minutes of today's game will no doubt feature prominently.

They will also be taking a look at Motherwell's third goal yesterday. Did it cross the line?

There was a lack of responsibility from Scott Brown. That was the young Scott Brown, not the experienced player he is today

  6. Penalty a 'horrendous decision' - Rodgerspublished at 14:46 British Summer Time 16 April 2017

    FT: Ross County 2-2 Celtic

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers talking to BBC Sportsound

"It's a very disappointing end to a game we dominated throughout.

"We had good control and then the points are taken from us by a horrendous decision. I've seen some bad decisions up here but that's one of the worst.

"Referees have a tough job but I don't know what he was seeing. The linesman needs to help him or else why are they there?

"There's no way Erik Sviatchenko makes any attempt to get the ball."

  7. 'I can understand Celtic's anger and disappointment'published at 14:41 British Summer Time 16 April 2017

    FT: Ross County 2-2 Celtic

Ross County manager Jim McIntyre talking to BBC Sportsound:

"Obviously the penalty is the key talking point, followed by Scott Brown's red card.

"Alex is expecting contact and he's on his way down when the defender pulls out. It's not a penalty and I can fully understand Celtic's anger and disappointment.

"The red card is reckless and that's probably down to frustration with the referee. It's not a nice way for the game to end.

"I thought we were better in the second half in terms of laying a glove on Celtic higher up the pitch and we've picked up a great point."

The TV is showing replay after replay of the penalty incident. It's such a blatant dive from Alex Schalk. The Celtic defender, Erik Sviatchenko, is not even close to him.

It's an appalling blunder from the officials.

Will the SFA take retrospective action against the County forward?

Brendan Loftus:  Absolute disgrace. The diving player should be suspended himself for bringing the game into disrepute & as far as the ref is concerned, back to lower leagues for him.

Colm Kilbane: The only way to get rid of diving is for people to put pressure on the diver, not the referee.

    Tom McMaster: Well done Staggies.

  10. Brown likely to miss Old Firm semi-finalpublished at 14:30 British Summer Time 16 April 2017

    FT: Ross County 2-2 Celtic

This was the wild sliding challenge from Scott Brown that felled Liam Boyce and resulted in a straight red card for the Celtic midfielder.

Perhaps more importantly, the nature of the challenge is likely to deprive the Premiership champions of their captain for Sunday's Scottish Cup semi-final against Rangers.

If referee Don Robertson deems the moment of recklessness to be violent conduct, Brown will be unavailable for the Hampden showdown.

    FT: Ross County 2-2 Celtic

Ross County midfielder Michael Gardyne on BBC Sportsound:

"It's a massive point. We need to take confidence from this into the last five games of the season.

"We had a good shape in the first half but we didn't do enough on the ball. In the second half we got more crosses into the box and got our rewards.

"We'll enjoy a wee break and then it's five cup finals. If we play like we did today, we'll be fine."

"It started earlier between Boyce and Brown. Boyce had a little niggle at Brown, who then kicked out. Referee Don Robertson didn’t do anything about the kick-out, and then Brown’s absolutely lunged in from nowhere on Boyce. Robertson had no option but to produce the red card."

  14. FULL-TIME Ross County 2-2 Celticpublished at 90+3 mins

A big point for Ross County, who stay eighth in the table and pull three points away from the play-off place.
