    Hibernian 2-3 Aberdeen

So, Aberdeen will face either Celtic or Rangers in the Scottish Cup final, after knocking out the holders Hibs with a thrilling 3-2 victory.

"I want my players to be rewarded for what they give," said a delighted Dons boss Derek McInnes afterwards.  The honesty is screaming out of them. I don't think we can get any more out of them."

Hibernian boss Neil Lennon criticised his side for a "pathetic" start to the semi-final. "I needed a 36-year-old [Grant Holt] to come on and get us playing," Lennon said.

"He was brilliant, Holt. We scored two fabulous goals and then we're in the ascendancy. They got a huge slice of luck with the third goal."

    Dundee United 3-2 St Mirren

"It’s a free kick [to St Mirren before Thomas Mikkelsen's goal]. It’s very simple – there are loads of other things happening in that game today.

"That, in the early part of the game, is a huge moment and it’s a refereeing mistake. I think everyone within the stadium knows it’s a free kick, other than the match officials."
