Hibernian 2-3 Aberdeen
Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes: "We got a break with the goal but we earned that, no doubt about it. In the five semi-finals we have been involved in, the two we lost I thought we were the dominant team in both but semi-finals are all about getting through.
"I didn't expect it to be 90 minutes of Aberdeen today. You've got to credit Hibs. They look like a team that's used to winning and they responded. They made it a proper game. It was end to end at times and you weren't sure which way it was going to go. Thankfully it went our way.
"I'm delighted for our supporters. Their last memory here at Hampden was a real sobering one and we felt we had a lot of making up to do after that final. Today's performance, the way the players have reacted since the turn of the year, suggests we are a good side and we are more ready for this final when it comes round.
"We take confidence from the improvements we've had. When we lost that semi-final to St Johnstone three years ago we were the better side for 75 minutes and then Stevie May scores two goals and then we are out.
"When we lost to Dundee United I thought we were the better team. We may have lost that type of game a couple of seasons ago. We have to show more resilience, show that calmness and confidence and experience and I thought we just managed to show enough of that at a key stage of the game."

Hibernian 2-3 Aberdeen
Former Celtic striker John Hartson: "I thought it was a really good game. Hibs started really sloppily, allowing Adam Rooney to go in after 12 seconds. When you're a bit hesitant at the back early on, just put your foot through it, don't try to pass it.
"I thought Marciano was a bit naive with the goal (Aberdeen's second). It was a really good free-kick from Christie. Neil Lennon made a fantastic substitution, bringing on big Grant Holt to get in among the Aberdeen defenders. When you've got somebody big and awkward and good in the air, to come across the eye line of the defenders, it can just unsettle them a bit and that's what Grant Holt did. It could have gone either way. It was heartbreaking for Hibs."

Hibernian 2-3 Aberdeen
“It’s fine [the result] and I can accept it. They scored with a massive slice of luck. But it’s not good enough from us. The first 30 minutes was pathetic and totally unacceptable."
“It’s nothing to do with tactics or formations. It’s to do with decision making and individual errors.
"I need a 36-year-old to come on and get us playing, which we did and we scored two fabulous goals and then we’re in the ascendancy. Like I said, they got a huge slice of luck with the third goal.
"We didn't deserve to lose the game but you can't give a team like Aberdeen a two-goal head-start.
"Anything can happen once it gets back to 2-2. It just wasn't our day, but I'm not happy with the way we approached the game."
