    Fulham 0-0 Reading

Fulham just starting to ratchet up the pressure on Reading towards the end of this first half.

Floyd Ayite advances into the box and tries to pick out a pass when he might have been better off getting a shot away, before Ryan Fredericks drifts a cross too close to Royals keeper Ali Al-Habsi.

Tom Cairney's early long-range effort remains the closest either side have come to a goal though.

Lovely atmosphere at Craven Cottage today. It really takes me back to the European run of old, when Shakhtar Donetsk and Atletico Madrid played here.

Since then they've slipped out of the Premier League and struggled in the Championship; it's like winding the clock back seven years or so to see these fans so happy.

Big surprise of this game so far is the fact referee Stuart Attwell hasn't shown a card of any colour.

Danny Williams and Yann Kermorgant for Reading both a touch fortunate to escape a yellow for their robust tackling while Ryan Fredericks has just put in a slightly ill-timed challenge on the aforementioned Williams.

Heated stuff, but still no goals.

    Fulham 0-0 Reading

Fulham's Ryan Fredericks dives in for a somewhat reckless challenge on Danny Williams and brings the Reading man down.

Stuart Attwell again keeps his cards in his pocket.

For all the criticism referees get, I think he's done a pretty decent job so far.

    Fulham 0-0 Reading

A little foray into the Fulham box for Reading, as Danny Williams makes strides down the right and looks to pick out Lewis Grabban in a shooting position.

Grabban never gets the chance to pull the trigger though, as Cottagers defender Tomas Kalas dives in to make the interception.

    Fulham 0-0 Reading

Reading are starting to look a little frustrated, seemingly feeling referee Stuart Attwell is not giving them a fair share of the decisions.

Royals forward Yann Kermorgant commits his second foul of the evening, but Attwell keeps his cards in his pockets.

Fulham have looked just the better of the two teams for the past ten minutes or so.

They start them young at Fulham - just ask 16-year-old left-back Ryan Sessegnon, who is on the bench today...

    I'll get my coat.

  8. 'Fulham starting to find their groove'published at 25 mins

Fulham are starting to find their groove. Aluko almost snatched at the cut-back from Ayite - it was the best chance of the game so far and he should have scored.

But the crowd are sensing that the home side are beginning to get on top.

    Fulham 0-0 Reading

    It should be 1-0.

Fulham winger Floyd Ayite - who looked offside at the start of the move - gets free down the left and cuts the ball back to an unmarked Sone Aluko in the centre of the penalty box.

Aluko swings his left leg at the ball, but drags the shot wide of goal.

There might not have been too many clear-cut chances so far, but there's been no shortage of energy both on the pitch and in the stands.

Lewis Grabban may well have played more of a role off the bench since starting his loan from Bournemouth in January, but he is giving Reading an outlet upfront and Fulham something to think about in defence with his strength in the air and holding the ball up.

Who will win the Championship play-offs?

John Brazier: Reading going all the way. I have to believe.

Andrew Ringrose: Huddersfield have got their bad form out of the way. Keep an eye on the underdogs.

It's not been a classic so far, but it's not been dull either.

The two sides look fairly evenly matched so far, with neither quite able to find their best form.

That first corner turns into a second for Reading, but Fulham clear their lines and launch a counter-attack.

Tom Cairney tries his luck from 25 yards out, bending a shot just wide of the top corner of Ali Al-Habsi's goal.

    First chance of the game.

Reading keeper Ali Al-Habsi launches a long ball forward, and two Fulham defenders collide as they fail to clear the ball.

Lewis Grabban is in behind the defence for a second time, but can't quite get the ball in stride and the hosts put it behind for a corner.

  15. Hello, Roy!published at 6 mins

    Fulham 0-0 Reading

    Roy HodgsonImage source, Rex Features

There's a familiar face in the crowd at Craven Cottage this evening - former England manager Roy Hodgson.

Hodgson had a three-year spell at Fulham - taking the club to their first ever European final - before leaving for Liverpool in 2010.

Roy looks surprisingly in his element while posing for that selfie.

  16. Postpublished at 4 mins

    Fulham 0-0 Reading

Fulham look to launch their first attack through Floyd Ayite, whose progress is quickly stopped by a foul from Yann Kermorgant.

Reading attempt a more direct approach, and Lewis Grabban is momentarily in behind the defence, but his pass is wasteful, straight to a Fulham defender.

  17. Reading playing three at the backpublished at 17:35 British Summer Time 13 May 2017

    Bradley Allen
Ex-QPR striker for BBC Radio London

It does appear that it's three at the back for Reading, with the two wing-backs Chris Gunter and Jordan Obita able to drop in and create a back five if needed.

Reading get the Championship play-offs started.

The Royals win an early throw-in midway inside the Fulham half.

  20. Former players wish luckpublished at 17:30 British Summer Time 13 May 2017

    Fulham v Reading (17:30 BST)

Former Fulham defender Paul Konchesky and Reading striker Jason Roberts have offered their support before kick off.

Both experienced Premier League football during their times at their respective old sides. Can the current crop follow their lead?
