The boxing's not meant to start until later lads!

Fabio Borini fouls a man in blue and there's a right old ding-dong as a result. One Bournemouth player is down as the officials call a conference in the middle...

    Championship

Nottingham Forest will have plenty of work to do on the final day. Joel Lynch has put QPR 2-0 up at Loftus Road.

With Blackburn 1-0 up to Aston Villa, the two sides are going into the final day level on points.

Birmingham - 1-0 up against Huddersfield - are two points ahead as it stands.

Blackburn are away to Brentford on the final day with Birmingham away to Bristol City and Forest at home to Ipswich.

    Nail-biter.

    Stoke 0-0 West Ham

Chaotic stuff! Marko Arnautovic does well to reach a long ball over the top and somehow hook an effort on goal, Adrian pushes it out but then almost ends up throwing it into his own goal! Good reflexes see him shovel it away.

We can cancel MOTD tonight and just show the Jamie Vardy goal on the news, and then put Tremors on. Sorted.

Steve Fletcher:  I hope Match of the Day has games from the Championship on tonight!

Tim Tyler: Four matches, 1 goal. I could've stayed in bed!

    Sunderland 0-0 Bournemouth

    Garth Crooks
Former Spurs striker on Final Score

Sunderland v Bournemouth - both teams have had chances, Jermain Defoe has had a few great chances but it's tough for David Moyes because it still looks like Sunderland are going to go.

Elsewhere, Southampton are in ninth place and have got their flip flops on, and they are playing like it.

    Southampton 0-0 Hull

Lazar Markovic does well to wriggle away from his man on the right but he then puts his cross clean out of the penalty area. Not within 30 yards of a team-mate.

    Rubbish.

ENTER THE CROUCH. This game needs you, Peter Crouch. He is on, as is Mark Noble for West Ham.

Looking like Leicester are the only scorers/winners today. I suppose that's the same as winning the league again.

Alright Ben, so it's not been a classic afternoon so far but I think you've slightly over-stretched yourself here.....

    Southampton 0-0 Hull

What can I say about this second half? Erm, well the weather looks lovely. And the pitch is beautiful.

    Stoke 0-0 West Ham

Jack Butland is having a very decent afternoon though. That's the second time he's denied Andre Ayew with a strong save, away to his left this time to push the forward's strike away and the loose ball is mopped up.

    Sunderland 0-0 Bournemouth

Bournemouth are playing some nice and neat football but they don't really look like scoring. Can they find a way through?

  16. EFL update - Leeds with hope, tight at the bottompublished at 16:17 British Summer Time 29 April 2017

Big goals at the top and bottom in the Championship.

Leeds, who were three down at home to Norwich, have pulled Norwich back to 3-2 as Kyle Bartley bundles over the line from a corner.

As it stands, Leeds are four points short of Fulham - drawing at home to Brentford. Given their weaker goal difference, Garry Monk's side realistically need to win at the moment.

At the bottom, Blackburn have gone ahead away to Aston Villa through Danny Graham while Nottingham Forest trail to a goal from QPR's Conor Washington.

If it stays the same through to the final whistle, Blackburn and Forest will go into the final day on the same number of points with Forest just two goals better off.

Wigan, trailing to Reading, are going down as it stands.

  17. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:17 British Summer Time 29 April 2017

    Stoke 0-0 West Ham

I wonder whether Stoke fans wish they still had Bojan around? He might make the difference in a game like this. As it is Joe Allen goes close before Saido Berahino extends Adrian with a very decent effort on the run. Good strike, great save.

I'd love to know the maths behind this one....

A boring afternoon can only mean 1 thing goals galore in the evening kick off and Burnley's first away win !

We have seen a flurry of blocks, a flurry of saves, we have seen cuts and a bit of blood spilt from Ryan Shawcross on the pitch but we haven't seen goals.
