It is has been a real surprise to me these last few games for Hull.

They got themselves in a situation where they could have stayed up but they have totally given up. You could almost say they have bottled it.

    Crystal Palace 2-0 Hull City

Palace have a free-kick, midway inside the opposition half. Wilfried Zaha's attempted pass is intercepted and Hull break forward.

Jarrod Bowen to Ahmed Elmohamady, who whips in from the right. His ball in cleared by James Tomkins.

    They go again...

    Who would argue with this?

Swansea Mark: If Hull go down, you have to think Clement is in for manager of the season. Swansea were dead, buried and adrift at Xmas

Palace make their first switch. James McArthur on, Yohan Cabaye off.

    Great chance wasted!

Sam Clucas sends in a brilliant ball across the box to Hull substitute Jarrod Bowen, who is completely unmarked, but his shot is wild and sort of fizzes sideways.

    Breaking

West Ham v Liverpool (14:15 GMT)

Here's a sentence we haven't written for a while... Daniel Sturridge starts for Liverpool.

The England international replaces the injured Roberto Firmino, while Adam Lallana is also drafted back into the starting XI following a recent injury.

Full team news to follow shortly.

Marco Silva looks like he needs a hug.

The Hull boss is stood folding his arms, with his bottom lip out, with a puzzled/pensive look on his face.

His side have got to find three goals from somewhere. I'll put it out there: I will eat my hat if that happens.

    A very fair shout....

The fact that Hull and Middlesbrough are going straight back to the Championship just underlines the achievement of Sean Dyche at Burnley. Manager of the year candidate?

At least Hull are having a go. It has taken too long for them to take their shackles off. Has it come too late?

    Crystal Palace 2-0 Hull City

Evandro hooks a decent ball into the box in the hope of finding an on-rushing Sam Clucas. Goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey gets there first.

The Tigers are at least giving it a go here.

  11. CLOSE!published at 52 mins

    Crystal Palace 2-0 Hull City

Hull have a corner but it's poor from Kamil Grosicki.

He has another go to whip it in and Palace defender Joel Ward has to stoop to head clear. That was very close! Goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey was out of position.

Hull continue to press but as Oumar Niasse tries to worm his way into a dangerous position, his feet go from under him and the ball trickles out for a goal kick. Not good.

  12. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 49 mins

    Crystal Palace 2-0 Hull City

Curtis Davies has had to come on for the injured Harry Maguire. No more changes allowed for Hull.

Just before the switch happened, Crystal Palace looked dangerous again but Andros Townsend could only skew his shot way off target.

    Crystal Palace 2-0 Hull City

Andros Townsend boots the ball down field for Christian Benteke to chase.

The Palace striker comes under pressure from Harry Maguire and the pair collide.

Maguire immediately holds his ankle. He's in a lot of pain and the stretcher looks like it's going to make an appearance.

If Maguire has to go off, Hull have used all their substitutions and still have 45 to play. Not ideal.

I can't see a way back for Hull. It's the manner of their performance. Are they still shell shocked after the Sunderland defeat? It appears so.

White Hart Lane was my favourite away ground. I loved it.

I played my debut there, came on in the 90th minute and played about a 90 seconds - I swear I touched the ball! We won three on the run down there so we had a great time and it will be missed.

It was a great classic British stadium and the atmosphere was excellent there...
