A massive team talk from Marco Silva coming up. I'm watching him walk along the touchline and he looks dejected. Crystal Palace are brimming with confidence.

Three minutes added on in the first half and Palace are going for a third!

Sam Clucas nervously clears for Hull but some Jason Puncheon trickery earns the hosts a corner.

It's aimed at Martin Kelly. It doesn't come to anything.

Palace build up again, and eventually Christan Benteke tees up Yohan Cabaye from the right, but his final effort goes way over the bar.

Quite frankly, Hull City don't deserve a win today. I see no hope for the Tigers in this performance - they seem to have saved the worst performances of the season for the last two games.

    Crystal Palace 2-0 Hull City

The Palace fans are having a party now, and who can blame them?

Their team are looking really lively here and, bar a huge turn-around, they will secure their Premier League status today.

  6. 'Penalty'published at 12:42 British Summer Time 14 May 2017

A huge moment in the game. That should have been a penalty. I think Jason Puncheon does that deliberately. There is enough time for him to get his hand away from the ball. It's ridiculous. Martin Atkinson has missed it

    Talking travel - #bbcfootball

Andy White: At this rate Newcastle will have a lot of travelling to do next season. Their nearest away match could be in Manchester.

Thomashollern: Good news for those fans who will only have to travel to the northeast once next season.Bad news for championship fans though.

  8. YELLOW CARDpublished at 38 mins

    Crystal Palace 2-0 Hull City

Yohan Cabaye receives a yellow card for hauling down Oumar Niasse - free-kick to the left of the area.

Kamil Grosicki takes it and it's immediately put out for a corner by Jason Puncheon. It looked like it came off his hand? Not sure it was intentional, though.

Eventually Palace clear their lines and start another break, when they look at their most dangerous.

Knowing the boys and knowing that Big Sam loves to work on set pieces, I can tell that goal was straight off the training ground...

Big goal, a huge goal from Christian Benteke. What a threat he is in the air. That's why he was brought to Crystal Palace. Superb.

The final pass from Hull has been really poor, really shocking. Are the nerves getting to them?

Down and out? It's a long way back for Hull now.

Christian Benteke lands a bullet header past Eldin Jakupovic from a Jason Puncheon corner.

The Palace fans are obviously delighted. The Hull fans look on with fear.

There's not much going on on the field, but the Palace fans are in fine voice.

Hope you've all got your sun cream on. It looks like a scorcher in London.

  13. 'Hull have done nothing'published at 12:30 British Summer Time 14 May 2017

    Chris Sutton

Hull have have offered nothing in open play. There is a perplexed look on Marco Silva's face. He'll be disappointed with this start. I'm still not convinced about Crystal Palace's back line but Hull haven't done enough.

Alfred N'Diaye hits a rasping drive from outside the area which goes over Wayne Hennessey's bar.

It didn't trouble the Palace keeper at all.

    Crystal Palace 1-0 Hull City

Hull have had 69% possession but at this desperate stage of the season, that doesn't matter. They need goals.

Unfortunately they're up against the brick was that is Crystal Palace.

The hosts break forward again and Wilfried Zaha wriggles about in the box. It takes both Andrea Ranocchia and Andrew Robertson to stop him in his tracks.

Robertson is down injured, so we have a break in play.

    Crystal Palace 1-0 Hull City

Hull are piecing together a nice, patient, run of passes and then all of a sudden Palace break. And it's quick.

Wilfried Zaha gathers on the edge of the box and tries to supply Luka Milivojevic, but his final pass isn't quite right and Hull usher away the danger.

    Deserve to go down? #bbcfootball

Paul Collins: Hull are the only PL team this season not to score against Sunderland. including a 0-2 loss. No wonder they're going down.

Chelsea Warrior: This Hull side lost at home to THAT Sunderland side. They deserve to go down. Marco Silva massively let down by his players

When a player makes such a horrendous mistake like Ranocchia did, your backs are against the wall now and not only are they 1-0 down but they have the Selhurst Park crowd to fight against and when you face them it's a tough place to fight back from...

Evandro makes a good break up the left flank and sends in an inviting cross which is cleared by Jason Puncheon for a Hull corner.

Palace striker Christian Benteke immediately heads it out for another corner.

And then the same again. Corner in, Benteke clears.

Hull need a new plan of action.
