GOAL - Tottenham 2-0 Man Utdpublished at 49 mins

    Harry Kane

    Lead doubled.

Horrible marking from Manchester United again, this time Chris Smalling the culprit.

He is the wrong side of Harry Kane, who clips in a finish from six yards out following Christian Eriksen's pin-point cross. Deft, brilliant.

That is his 28th goal of the season and "Harry Kane is one of our own".

  9. 'Difficult season will stand us in good stead'published at 17:27 British Summer Time 14 May 2017

    West Ham 0-4 Liverpool

    West Ham United

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic believes his players can use a difficult debut campaign at London Stadium to their benefit next season.

"It was a very difficult season, a very long one. We had many, many obstacles. We needed time to adjust to the stadium but we knew that we would," said the Croatian.

"We had too many injuries throughout the season, that's why I would like to give credit to the players. I think we will benefit long term from this season and from the knowledge and experience."

    West Ham 0-4 Liverpool

    Liverpool

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp: "It was a fantastic game but difficult. At the end it was amazing but the start was not that good. After that we controlled the game and took our chances.

"We scored some really nice goals but in the first half West Ham had big, big chances - especially to equalise before half-time. It was really unlucky for West Ham, but it was really lucky from our position. West Ham have not had too much luck this season.

    "We deserved the three points."

On Daniel Sturridge starting and scoring his first goal since 2 January: "Each player in the world, even great players like Daniel, needs training. It was nice we could build over the last few weeks and then bring him in. You see him around the box with his smartness, he was fantastic.

"Hopefully we will go through this week without injuries. Maybe Roberto Firmino will play against Middlesbrough."

Used to go to the Lane from Somerset In the late 70's, early 80's. The Shelf and Paxton Road. A tear in my eye as we take the lead. Night, night Lane. x

Memories of the Lane - Text 81111

My first game at the Lane was the 10-4 beating of Everton in the fifties. I think it was Bill Nich's first game as manager. My Mum went to the school opposite the main entrance so there was only one club for me. COYS - the futures white!!!

I'll tell you what, I take my hat off to Kieran Trippier. He has obviously kept himself in good nick. He hasn't got his head down. He hasn't got disillusioned or frustrated.

He has come in with a great attitude and he is going to have a big part to play if things with Kyle Walker work out the way they are expected to.

It's been all Tottenham - they've had three or four great chances. Should certainly be more than a goal up - probably should be game over but it's not.

    Have some of that son.
