Ed Franklin: £100m for the pair? Be fair @BBCSport, external, David de Gea is worth more than £1m.

    Very good.

  2. YELLOW CARDpublished at 36 mins

    Tottenham 1-0 Man Utd

One too many indiscretions for referee Jon Moss's liking.

United skipper Wayne Rooney is the first player into the black book for chopping down Christian Eriksen.

A red card today might mean it is the last time we see him in a red shirt.

The slick Frenchman David Ginola is also at White Hart Lane. Looking very well, which is good to see.

What a class player he was.

Any Real Madrid scouts at White Hart Lane today?

They will be keeping an eye on David de Gea of United and Spurs's Dele Alli, both have impressed so far.

    £100m for the pair?

  5. GREAT SAVE!published at 31 mins

    Tottenham 1-0 Man Utd

Spurs have had a bag full of chances.

Harry Kane and Dele Alli link with their telepathic connection as the striker feeds the ball through to his England colleague, but Alli's thunderous shot which is heading for the top corner is brilliantly tipped away by David de Gea.

    Tottenham 1-0 Man Utd

Wayne Rooney is not happy with referee Jon Moss who awards Tottenham a free-kick in a dangerous position.

Moss puts his finger to his lips and tells Rooney to be quiet. He will be sending the United skipper to the naughty corner if he is not careful.

Spurs cannot make anything of the set-piece as Christian Eriksen's cross is headed away well by Axel Tuanzebe.

We get a peek of former Tottenham goalkeeper Pat Jennings - also the name of my work colleague - in the stands at White Hart Lane.

MOTD commentator Steve Wilson says the man with "frying pan hands" would have caught the Christian Eriksen cross with one hand.

On the pitch, David de Gea seems to have shaken off his knock and is OK to carry on.

It has been a topsy-turvy sort of game here.

It has gone from being all Tottenham, to Manchester United looking like they were coming into the match, and back again to Tottenham being in control.

    Tottenham 1-0 Man Utd

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino shakes his head on the bench, he knows his side should be tucked up in bed by now.

    Oof, almost the second.

Christian Eriksen's cross from the left takes a huge deflection off Eric Bailly and goalkeeper David de Gea has to use all his spring to claw the ball away.

The Spaniard collides with the post on the follow up and is in a bit of trouble.

  11. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 22 mins

    Tottenham 1-0 Man Utd

Manchester United are all over the place at the back, those Ajax kids will be licking their lips.

Harry Kane makes Phil Jones look foolish with an excellent turn to earn another corner.

From the set-piece, Christian Eriksen whips a ball to the front post, which Kane gets his head on, but the ball cannons off the top of the crossbar.

Spurs should have the game wrapped up and be out of sight already.

    West Ham 0-4 Liverpool

    Liverpool

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge, speaking to Sky Sports: "It was an important game for us - we had the right attitude and we got an important victory."

On keeping his cool to round Hammers keeper Adrian and score his first Premier League goal since 2 January: "These are the things that you don't train too much, you don't get many chances or much time like this in training. I feel sharp, I'm glad to be starting and providing chance for the boys."

On the Reds finishing in the top four: "It is important to everyone at the club, it has been a good last few weeks for us but we probably have not got as many points as we should. We rose to the occasion today."

On his own future: "I don't have any worries about next season. I have a good relationship with the managers and the fans have been brilliant. I'm just looking forward to the last game next week and getting the job done now."

  13. Not the ref's fault we lost 4-0 - Reidpublished at 16:51 British Summer Time 14 May 2017

    West Ham 0-4 Liverpool

    West Ham United

West Ham defender Winston Reid, speaking to Sky Sports: "We got into a game we didn't want to get to. We were too open for our liking and they have good quality players and a lot of speed. It just went wrong. We tried out best but you get days like this sometimes."

On whether he should have won a penalty seconds before Liverpool scored their third goal: "There was contact from Gini Wijnaldum and I felt there was a foul. I didn't know about the handball but I knew I was fouled. If we had been given given a penalty it could have been a different game. But it's not the referee's fault we lost 4-0.

On a difficult first season at London Stadium: "It has been a rollercoaster season and towards the end we started to improve. Now we move onto next season, and we will learn from this season."

  14. 'Finishing top four will be a successful season'published at 16:51 British Summer Time 14 May 2017

    West Ham 0-4 Liverpool

    Liverpool

Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana, speaking to BBC Sport: "We were calm going into the game. People thought the pressure was on but the team that the manager picked had goals in it and we were always going to get chances.

"We had to be patient at times, but we came out for the second half, started well and created chances. It could have been more in the end. It was an all-round good team performance and now we can prepare for next weekend.

"If we finish in the top four it will be a successful season. Then we have the willingness to continue and always keep improving."

This should be two but Son Heung-min cannot keep his composure.

The South Korean gets lucky with a couple of ricochets to run through on goal and one-on-one with David de Gea, blasts a left-footed strike straight at the Spaniard.

Chris Smalling fails to clear but is not punished as Christan Eriksen drags his low drive wide.

    Inches from the leveller.

Wayne Rooney does brilliantly on the halfway line to clip a ball over the top and onto the pacey Anthony Martial.

The Frenchman turns inside of Toby Alderweireld - who has to buy a ticket to get back into the stadium - before curling a delightful shot agonisingly wide of Hugo Lloris goal.

Lovely football from Manchester United as they look to hit back in the game.

Juan Mata shows quick feet, transferring the ball from left to right and slotting it through to Jesse Lingard on the run.

The United man then tries to play in team-mate Anthony Martial on the edge of the box but it is cut out by Ben Davies.

    Promising signs for Jose Mourinho.
