Shanice van de Sanden gets a huge reception as she leaves the field. The Liverpool player's been one of the stand-out performers for the hosts.

In a bizarre turn of events, the trumpeter in the crowd breaks out into a rendition of Auld Lang Syne.

After that second goal, the home fans are celebrating like it's new year's eve. But as is the tradition, they stop singing after the first verse because they don't know the words.

    Brilliant play for the Netherlands.

    Play that funky music.

  19. CLOSE!published at 54 mins

    Netherlands 1-0 Sweden

    Another decent chance for Sweden!

Stina Blackstenius out-smarts substitute defender Mandy van den Berg, takes the ball down under full control but can only place her shot over the bar.

The Sweden striker's scored twice in this tournament, but she doesn't look confident in front of goal at the moment.

    Netherlands 1-0 Sweden

The orange majority in the crowd have found their voice and inflatable clappers again.

What are they actually called? I'm sure it's something like thunder sticks...

Anyway, they're easily as annoying as the vuvuzela, circa World Cup 2010.
