  1. Postpublished at 10 mins

    Netherlands 0-0 Sweden

Sweden winger Lotte Schelin is lurking with intent in the Netherlands box but she can't quite get on the end of a looping ball.

We've yet to see a clear-cut chance for either side.

  2. Postpublished at 8 mins

    Netherlands 0-0 Sweden

Another corner for Spitse, the Netherlands captain and team's top scorer so far.

This time it's more accurate and it's headed back into the box before Sweden clear their lines.

  3. Postpublished at 6 mins

    Netherlands 0-0 Sweden

The crowd suddenly find their voice as Shanice van de Sanden makes a powerful run to the byline and earns a corner.

Cue the slow hand clap from the orange army as Sherida Spitse sends it in...but it's pretty awful and is cleared with ease by the Swedish defence.

  4. Postpublished at 5 mins

    Netherlands 0-0 Sweden

Kosovare Asllani capitalises on a loose ball in the Netherlands midfield and tries to press forward, but the Sweden number nine is under too much pressure.

Striker Fridolina Rolfo, who plays for Bayern at club level, twists and turns on the edge of the box, this time on the left, and feeds in the cross but again it's cleared.

    Sweden have started well here.

  5. Postpublished at 2 mins

    Netherlands 0-0 Sweden

Sweden have a throw-in on the right-hand side. Fridolina Rolfo has little space to work with as she tries to send a ball into the box and the danger is cleared.

Another cross in from the right is cleared by Anouk Dekker.

  6. KICK-OFFpublished at 17:01 British Summer Time 29 July 2017

    Netherlands 0-0 Sweden

The crowd give us a 10 second countdown to kick-off. I like that a lot.

Sweden, playing in their blue strip, get us under way.

    Netherlands v Sweden (17:00 BST)

The stands at the Stadion De Vijverberg in Doetinchem are decked out in orange and yellow and the players get a big reception as they walk out.

    Two national anthems: completed.

It's time to get the knockout stages under way!

  9. Tournament bestspublished at 16:55 British Summer Time 29 July 2017

    Netherlands v Sweden (17:00 BST)

Sweden have a fine history in the Euros.

Although they have only won the tournament once, in 1984, they are three-time runners-up and have reached the semi-finals on eight occasions in total.

Pia Sundhage's side came into this year's competition having won silver at the Rio Olympics last summer, where they were beaten to gold by all-conquering Germany.

Netherlands qualified as hosts this year and their best finish came in 2009, when they reached the semi-finals.

  10. Team newspublished at 16:50 British Summer Time 29 July 2017

    Netherlands v Sweden (17:00 BST)

The hosts make just one change from the team which beat neighbours Belgium, as Desiree van Lunteren replaces Liza van der Most at right-back.

Sweden had the luxury of resting players in their final group game - a 3-2 defeat to Italy - so make four changes.

Back come Nilla Fischer, Lisa Dahlkvist, Jessica Samuelsson and Fridolina Rolfo.

    Netherlands v Sweden (17:00 BST)

As previously mentioned, the host nation are one of only two teams left with a 100% record in the tournament.

The Netherlands earned 1-0 wins over Norway and Denmark before beating Belgium 2-1.

Sweden, meanwhile, drew their opener against reigning champions Germany, before beating Russia 2-0. They lost in a 3-2 thriller in their final group game against Italy, but still progressed as runners-up.
