He's started well Andreas Pereira, busy on and off the ball as he tracks back well to tackle Gareth Bale. Bale looks well short of his sharpest touch.

Moses Wambui: I wonder what goes through the mind of a player with a point to prove? A.Pereira hopefully has an eventful 45mins

Luka Modric, as good a midfielder as we've seen in the Premier League for many a year, glides past Maroune Fellaini but can't then find Lucas Vazquez on the right. Both sides looking understandably blunt in the final third.
A Miami El Clasico eh? Will we see 'proper' games played in the States or in Asia soon enough?
If Twickenham can host NFL games I can see it happening.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho made no apology in his press conference ahead of the game for saying he regarded this match as nothing more than a training session.
Nevertheless, he was out on the touchline just now trying to correct something he wasn't happy with.
This is the fourth of United's five games in the States. They play Barcelona in Washington on Wednesday, the same night as Real play Manchester City in Los Angeles.
Real play Barca in Miami after that.

Is there any morale boost to be had by winning a game like this? I'm not so sure. Mind you it's always good to win.
Good shot! Jesse Lingard picks up a pass from Anthony Martial and hits a fizzing shot from 20-odd yards, Keylor Navas has to move sharply to his left to beat it clear.

Kyle: Think United can get a morale boasting win tonight as Real are behind in terms of preparation. 2-1 to United
Real Madrid 0-0 Manchester United
Good goalkeeping from Sergio Romero, who has always impressed me in a Manchester United shirt. He comes dominantly off his line to punch away a Karim Benzema cross after good work from Gareth Bale.
Phil Jones took a whack in the mix but he's up and OK.
Real Madrid 0-0 Manchester United
No brand new faces on display for either side out there at the moment, though 21-year-old Andreas Pereira is a relative unknown for Manchester United.
The Brazilian midfielder may be more of a squad regular this season though after impressing on loan at Granada last season. Either that or he'll end up at Watford I guess.
Real Madrid 0-0 Manchester United
These two meet in the Uefa Super Cup in just over two weeks' time in Macedonia of all places. I expect this to be a much less competitive affair. But Real start at a decent intensity, Karim Benzema hustling Eric Bailly off the ball as the United defender dawdles.
Jesse Lingard then links up nicely in attack but is checked by Nacho.
Real Madrid 0-0 Manchester United
Away we go! Jesse Lingard kicks us off.

The teams are out, a huge cheer given to both teams as the line-ups are announced. Manchester United in traditional red, Real in traditional white.

For the second game running, I have been duped into wearing shorts and a shirt-sleeved shirt because it is a beautiful day, only to find I am sitting indoors and it is a tad chilly.
The match is not going to be anywhere near a sell-out either.
The Levi's Stadium holds 67,000. It is home to the San Francisco 49'ers NFL side and, on Wednesday, will play host to the Concacaf Gold Cup final between the United States and either Mexico or Jamaica.

A good question.
Tonight's friendly is part of the International Champions Cup, which is a collection of friendlies played around the world but grouped together.
Fifteen teams are involved this summer, with PSG, Juventus, Roma, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham all playing in the United States alone.
Games are also being played in China and Singapore.

Benjamin Mendy is travelling to the United States ahead of his transfer to Manchester City from Monaco.
City have agreed a £52m fee for the defender.
It is understood Mendy will have his medical in Los Angeles, where City are based ahead of their game against Real Madrid on Wednesday.
Once completed, it will take City’s spending on full-backs this summer to £123.5m following the arrival of Kyle Walker from Tottenham for £45m and Danilo from Real Madrid for £26.5m.

The weather in Santa Clara looks absolutely tremendous. The Levi's Stadium is filling up nicely, it's the home of the San Francisco 49ers and holds just under 70,000 fans.

Luke Shaw, Ashley Young and Marcos Rojo will miss the start of the campaign, despite all three being on Manchester United's tour of the United States.
Left-back Shaw is expected to return from a foot injury by September, Young will likely be back playing in October following a hamstring problem and Rojo will be fit after knee damage in December or January.

No-one could accuse these fans of lacking dedication.
They arrived in the car park at the Levi's Stadium at 7am - for a 2pm kick-off local time.
Tailgate parties are a bit of a thing at football matches in the United States. And it seems breakfast is just as popular as burgers.
Imagine what time they would turn up for one of our 12.30 Premier League starts!
Real Madrid v Manchester United (22:05 BST)
There's no Cristiano Ronaldo - who played in the Confederations Cup for Portugal of course - for Real Madrid but Gareth Bale starts in a very strong line-up.
