    Reading 0-0 Aston Villa

Reading have had the better of this and it's only because of Villa keeper Sam Johnstone that they don't lead.

The Manchester United loanee spectacularly denies midfielder Adrian Popa twice in quick succession.

Meanwhile, the visitors have replaced the injured Scott Hogan with former England international Gabriel Agbonlahor

    Martyn Waghorn

Not a night for defenders at the Den.

It's far too easy for Ipswich, as David McGoldrick makes his way into the right-hand side of the box, before pulling a pass back for Martyn Waghorn to score his second of the night.

That's now three goals in two games for Waghorn, who only joined the Tractor Boys eight days ago.

    Reading 0-0 Aston Villa

Been little to get you off your seat in the opening 20 minutes of this one, whichever side is your preference.

Lots and lots of build up from Reading, but not much end product.

John Swift did curl an effort from the edge of the penalty area after Mo Barrow's run, but it was always swinging wide of Sam Johnstone's left post.

"Premier League football without Premier League players appears to be Jaap Stam's way," that's the verdict of former Royals club captain Ady Williams sat next to me.

What a game we have at the Den!

Martyn Waghorn fires in his second goal in his second Ipswich game after a deflection fell fortuitously to him, but Millwall are back on terms moments later.

Ipswich fail to clear their lines, the ball dropping for Aiden O'Brien to smartly turn the ball in past Bartosz Bialkowski.

    Reading 0-0 Aston Villa

Reading, beaten in last season's play-off final, are still looking for their first league win this season.

Midfielder John Swift bends an effort just wide as they go looking for the opener.

Leeds striker Chris Wood, linked with a move to Burnley, should give the hosts the lead.

He's played in on goal and tries to dink it over David Button but the keeper stands tall to deny him.

  10. Murphy on target for Forestpublished at 20:15 British Summer Time 15 August 2017

    Barnsley 1-1 Nottingham Forest

Just as Britt Assombalonga was scoring his first Middlesbrough goal, the man tasked with replacing him at Nottingham Forest was bagging his second in a Reds shirt.

Barrie McKay's cross is headed home by Daryl Murphy to level the scores at Oakwell.

Wolves' defence is breached for the first time this season.

Michael Dawson heads home a corner at the back post to draw his team level.

    Cardiff 0-0 Sheff Utd

Cardiff come close to an opener when Jazz Richards hits the crossbar from miles out but moments later should find themselves trailing as Blades striker Billy Sharp misses the target from 10 yards out.

    Britt Assombalonga

Reading v VillaImage source, Rex Features

Curious start to this one in the 20:00 BST kick-off.

Reading, as is the Jaap Stam way, monopolised possession for the opening four minutes before gifting Villa an easy break.

However, Andre Green failed to capitalise on a glorious chance for the visitors when he could only shoot straight at Vito Mannone in the Reading goal when he appeared to have all evening to pick his spot.

I said Fulham were on top and they very nearly had a goal to show for it.

Ibrahima Cisse strikes the post from 25 yards out.

    Hull City 0-1 Wolves

Wolves, top of the table as it stands, are also well on top at Hull City.

Full-back Matt Doherty goes on a run into the area but is dispossessed just before he can shoot.

  19. Robins make typically fast startpublished at 19:57 British Summer Time 15 August 2017

    Brentford 0-1 Bristol City

Bristol City take the lead at Brentford, as Famara Diedhiou drives forward before pulling the ball back for Josh Brownhill to shoot low into the corner.

That's the eighth goal the Robins have scored inside the first 30 minutes of games this season already.

Brentford, without a point from their first two games, face another uphill battle tonight.
