Australian international Tom Rogic so often has magic in his boots but the mercurial midfielder blazes a shot high over the bar.

Moments later, Nicklas Bendtner can't get anything on a low, menacing cross. This Champions League qualifier is opening up nicely as we head into the final 15 minutes.

Better, much better from Celtic. James Forrest enjoys possession following a bit of pinball before his flashing drive flies inches wide of goal.

The supporters inside Celtic Park roar their approval. Seconds later, Tom Rogic sees his attempted cross blocked for a corner. The hosts have raised the tempo.

Celtic have come up against stiff Rosenborg resistance in this first leg and the hosts haven't been able to breach the Norwegian rearguard.

A free-kick for Rosenborg in a decent position is whipped in for Nicklas Bendtner to rise... and head over the bar. Goal kick for Celtic and it remains goalless as we approach the hour mark.

Celtic corner. Olivier Ntcham gets his header on target but it's a looping effort. The ball drops to James Forrest but the winger's shot spins out harmlessly for a goal kick.

Rosenborg are showing more adventure than they displayed in the opening 45 and Celtic will be hoping to exploit extra space when they hit them on the counter attack.

Craig Gordon is called into action, pushing a dangerous free-kick over the bar for a Rosenborg free-kick but the Norwegians fail to profit from the set piece.

Still no changes in the Celtic line-up, but wonder if Brendan Rodgers is considering a change?

With a short corner, Stuart Armstrong dinks it to Scott Brown and the Celtic captain whips in a centre but there's more frustration for the hosts as referee Tiago Martins blows for a foul on Rosenborg keeper Andre Hansen.
