James Forrest is beginning to warm to the task in the east end of Glasgow. The winger sees two shots blocked but the Rosenborg defence is beginning to look stretched. However, it remains goalless in this Champions League qualifier as we approach the 20-minute mark.

The opening quarter has developed into a familiar pattern: Celtic enjoy midfield superiority and some slick passing forces a corner, but Rosenborg then repel the danger.
Patience is key, for Brendan Rodgers' troops, but the Celtic manager would love a goal to capitalise on their superiority.

"Also a big night for James Forrest who must feel Jonny Hayes breathing down his neck at this stage. Hayes was excellent coming off the bench against Linfield last week. Hayes could do with a performance. Meanwhile, a gorgeous pass from Olivier Ntcham almost unlocks Rosenborg. This fella is going to be fun to watch this season."
Celtic force two corners in quick succession but the visitors have been coolness personified in dealing with crosses into the box. Winger James Forrest is finding space about 25 yards out from goal and he's trying to find a chink of light in the Rosenborg rearguard.

Better from the hosts as Celtic new boy Olivier Ntcham spots Stuart Armstrong's run and pitches a Jordan Spieth-style pass right into the midfielder's path. However, the Norwegians are alive to the danger and the ball eventually trundles out for a goal kick.
Celtic are enjoying the lionshare of possession but they have yet to test Hansen in the Rosenborg goal. Brendan Rodgers' side will have to be patient tonight...

"No Green Brigade for this one tonight for reasons we all know about; a long overdue ban for them. Will they be back? Probably. Will they learn their lesson? Probably not. Will there be another ban? Probably. But I refuse to accept that 900 people in the corner of the stadium dominate the atmosphere of the other 59,000 people. Is there enough people inside the stadium tonight to create an incredible atmosphere? You bet your life there is."

Celtic v Rosenborg (19:45)
Former Celtic manager Ronny Deila expects Rosenborg to try to hit the Scottish champions on the break when the sides meet on Wednesday.
The Norwegian side visit Celtic Park this week in a Champions League third qualifying round first leg.
Deila, who manages Rosenborg's Eliteserien rivals Valerenga in his homeland, said: "Their best skills in the team are defend and counter attack.
"That will suit them and that's what they want to do in Celtic Park - they want to stay a little bit higher than maybe Linfield was doing.
"But, of course, if Celtic's very good. Rosenborg will try to break on the counter attacks, a little bit like Molde did against Celtic when I was the manager - so 4-5-1, quite low and very quick on the counter with quick wingers."
