Remember Liverpool's marking from set-pieces against Watford?
The Reds concede a free-kick just outside their area which is whipped in and James Tomkins heads over.
Alarm bells ringing again in the Liverpool defence.

All quiet in terms of chances at Anfield but just look at how much possession Liverpool have enjoyed in the opening exchanges.

Liverpool are immediately on the front foot. Daniel Sturridge launches a move which ends in Patrick van Aanholt making a mess of a clearance which almost presents the Reds with the opening goal.

I think Liverpool's team is far away from their first 11. The selection has weakened them. Whether they are strong enough to beat Crystal Palace remains to be seen.

A terrific first rendition of You'll Never Walk Alone at Anfield this season.
Liverpool's fans have been practising that all summer.

Behind the Philippe Coutinho cloud that hangs in the air, the first week of the new season suggests not much has changed at Anfield, with an exhilarating attack at one end of the pitch countered by an unpredictable and sometimes leaky defence at the other.
Nonetheless, they'll fancy their chances here against a Palace side who came unstuck in a big way at home to promoted Huddersfield last week.
It was an inauspicious start for new manager Frank de Boer as his team try to get to grips with a new style, but they did at least create some chances.
Wilfred Zaha's absence is a blow, but surprisingly they've won this fixture at Anfield in each of the past three seasons.

A roar goes up inside Anfield as the teams emerge from the tunnel. Liverpool's players are wearing tracksuit tops, Palace's players are in their kit and ready to go.

Writing in today's programme, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp notes: "Today is our one and only priority. It is where our attention is - 100%.
"The attitude of our players has been outstanding. We have faced challenges during pre-season and at the beginning of the season already. I love that in our squad we have players of different personalities but at their core they all care passionately about what they do, about this club and about each other.
"To achieve something special we all need to put what we can to achieve together ahead of what we might want for ourselves as individuals."
I wonder what he means by that?

Jurgen Klopp on starting forward Daniel Sturridge for the first time this season: "Offensively, Daniel is back and that’s good news. I think it makes sense after a very good period pre-season then a short break with a little muscle thing that we bring him in immediately and try to use his quality. That’s the plan.”

Olly, Colwyn Bay: Liverpool need three new defenders and a goalkeeper to join Trent Alexander-Arnold and then they may have a chance of qualifying for the Europa League. Shocking defending so far.

Liverpool do have a very good record at home on the opening fixture of a Premier League campaign. They've won their opening match in the last four seasons - although Crystal Palace have surprisingly have won on their past three visits to Anfield.
Liverpool with their pace and power will be very much looking forward to this and very much looking to get three points on the board.

What are the chances of Christian Benteke scoring at Anfield against his old club?
He got both as Palace won 2-1 at Anfield in April but has scored just one goal since.

Crystal Palace have to take a couple of steps backwards to go back to how they played last season.
If De Boer wants to stick with his system he may have to suffer a few bad results. Sometimes managers change things too quickly and that might be happening at Crystal Palace.
They haven't brought in a lot of players and you have got to have the players to play the system. If he hasn't got ball-playing players you can't enforce it on them.

Andy Robertson is one of five changes for Liverpool. The 23-year-old comes in for Alberto Moreno.
A quick flick through the match day programme and Robertson says "When you sign for Liverpool you can't wait to play at Anfield. I think even for the players that have been here a long time the first game of a new season back at Anfield will always be a special one.
"These are exciting times for the club. There's a lot of competition for places and you know that you need to try and be at it in training and then do it on games when you get your chance."

Five changes for Liverpool from the side that started Tuesday's Champions League win against Hoffenheim.
Forward Mohamed Salah, the £34m signing from Roma, drops to the bench as Daniel Sturridge is given the nod by Jurgen Klopp.
There's a debut for Andrew Robertson at left-back, while James Milner, Joe Gomez and Ragnar Klavan also start. Trent Alexander-Arnold, who scored in Germany, is left out of the 18.
Liverpool XI: Mignolet, Gomez, Matip, Klavan, Robertson, Henderson, Milner, Wijnaldum, Mane, Firmino, Sturridge.
Frank de Boer responds to Crystal Palace's 3-0 home defeat to newly promoted Huddersfield last week by making two changes. Both are enforced.
Wilfried Zaha is injured so Andros Townsend starts, while summer signing Jairo Riedewald has a groin injury, James Tomkins stepping in.
Crystal Palace XI: Hennessey, Fosu-Mensah, Dann, Tomkins, Ward, Milivojevic, Puncheon, Van Aanholt, Loftus-Cheek, Townsend, Benteke.
A dark cloud still hangs over the future of Philippe Coutinho.
As well as the defence.
But will blue skies break out above Anfield when Liverpool make their first home appearance of the season?
