Southampton
Southampton manager Mauricio Pellegrino said: "They were better in the first half, especially with second balls and physically they were fresher than us. For me it was two soft goals that we have to try to avoid in the future. Second half we were much better but could not create.
"We have to keep trying, I have confidence in my squad, I think we will improve and we will have to keep going.
On his side's failure to score for a fourth time in five matches, Pellegrino said: "It is part of football, sometimes we don't have our day, like today.
It is really difficult to create score goals, but we have to keep going. I am confident we can improve.
"Maybe for this reason, Southampton changed their manager (Claude Puel was sacked in the summer) and if not I would not be here.
"Watford had a lot of people behind the ball. We have to push on and keep working."
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says Alexis Sanchez has been working hard, despite starting on the bench, and insists he is very focused after speaking with him.

Asked about Alvaro Morata: "Alvaro is improving a lot. It is important for strikers to score goals but also to be involved."
And asked about the return of Eden Hazard: "We know very well the importance of Eden. He needs time to find his best. We must be patient and give him the opportunity but I am happy for him."

They have been poor but they have responded well from them.
Alexis Sanchez had a bit of a cameo performance - the game was already over by that point - but when he came on, he was absolutely scintillating. He had great touch, great awareness and you can see he will give 100% until the next transfer window.
Everton manager Ronald Koeman says his team were "too nice" in their 3-0 defeat to Tottenham at Goodison Park.

Watford
Watford manager Marco Silva says: "It is really pleasing, and I am really proud of what we did.
"Congratulations for our team and our fans, they created a fantastic atmosphere and we deserved the win. It is not easy to come here and play how we played and control it how we did. We put pressure on the opponent, I do not remember a clear chance for them.
"The players work every day and this commitment and attitude means we can enjoy the match.
"Three clean sheets in a row is very important and gives the team confidence, but we played at times with a lot of quality and deserved the three points as we were stronger than our opponents.
"If you analyse the matches, we have had a lot of problems, we have used six centre backs and that is not normal, but we have kept three clean sheets. It is a very good start but we need to continue in this way."

Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino, speaking to Match of the Day: "It was a fantastic performance. Very solid. We played really well against a very good team that is difficult here at Goodison Park."
On Harry Kane scoring his 100th and 101st Tottenham goals: "It was fantastic for him to find the net again. It is fantastic for him and the team, I have no doubt about him. It was a very short few games without scoring but he is a great, great striker."
Can this sort of win help banish the Wembley hoodoo? "Maybe the hoodoo is real, you know?
"The only way to change that is to try to play well. I don't thing anything wrong happen there."

Chelsea
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte speaking to Match of the Day: "We must be delighted because we had a good performance. We played very well. We were in total control and could have scored more goals.
"After the penalty it changed the situation. They tried to push but despite this we had chances to improve the score. It is a good result and a good performance. After the international break it is not easy.
"I am happy for N'Golo (Kante). He performed very well but this is not news."

Brighton manager Chris Hughton on goalscorer Pascal Gross: "I remember when I first came to the club two years ago, he was very much on the radar then.
"He can play in lots of positions and he's very flexible. I'm really pleased for him as he always puts a shift in and did really well for us in pre-season."

More from Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger: "Alexis Sanchez is very focused on the Premier league and the Europa League and he wants to do well. He is still a bit short physically. He will be quickly back to his best.
"The break came at a very bad time for me, we did not perform against Liverpool.
"Confidence is so important in sport and the best way to get it is to perform like we did today."

Wenger's players stepped up for him today which he needed them to do.
But Bournemouth were not good enough. Eddie Howe has a lot of work to do from here on in.
