    A mouth-watering prospect to come on Tuesday night as Crusaders host Linfield in a crucial early-season clash at Seaview.

    We got off to a good start but the dream soon turned into a nightmare. We didn't kick on after that and didn't dominate the game enough. We played in second gear and invited pressure from the opposition. A good team like Ballymena will capitalise on that.

    I thought we gave away terrible goals today. We conceded two from throw-ins into the box and you just can't do that, it's basic defending and our players have to take responsibility for that. I thought we were still in it at 2-1 but they got another one, our heads dropped and we conceded more shocking goals. The only positive from today is that we actually created more chances than we have done in the last three or four games but it's not good enough. We have enough experience in the dressing room that we have to step up and admit we are in a serious battle because we haven't started well enough. We conceded six at Glenavon and five here today and it's just not good enough.

    The response from the players and the character they showed was very pleasing. We didn't panic after we went a goal down. This is a tough place to come and Warrenpoint put it up to us as we knew they would. We knew we were in a battle but we kept plugging away and showed great discipline.

    I'm very pleased with how we played. I thought we dominated possession and moved it well in good areas. They had a ten-minute spell when they came back into it and scored but once we responded we were able to run away a bit and I'm content with that. It's still early days this season and we're still working to get the whole squad back to full fitness but we're adapting well and today was evidence of that. Paul [Heatley] writes his own script, he's a wonderful professional, the way he conducts himself off the pitch as well as on it. Nobody works harder than him in training and performances like that are the fruits of his labour.

    We came with a gameplan to give it a go - that's what we did and we're disappointed as we put in a lot of effort and didn't get what we deserved. Roy (Carroll) kept them in the game in the first half after we conceded a sloppy goal from our point of view. Their goalkeeper was the man of the match and that tells its own tale. The fact that we ran the champions so close tells us we are not a million miles away.

    Coleraine boss Oran Kearney: "It was a game of two halves. We huffed and puffed quite a bit in the first half. But there was a huge improvement in our play in the second half. We passed it well enough to create the chances that we needed to win the game."

    It's always nice to get on the score-sheet but I thought the team performance today was phenomenal. I thought we were particularly good in the second-half after they got their goal. I'm happy to get three goals, it's always nice, but the performance was key today. I think, personally, I've been a bit up and down so far this season but I feel like I'm kicking into gear along with the team. We really turned up today, it was great.

    I thought we were the better team, created the better chances and deserved the three points. We should also have had a penalty in the first half. Aaron played up front by himself today and produced the goods while you can rely on Roy Carroll to make good saves at the right time. The Glens had a good go at us but were unable to break us down.

    Two goals from Cathair Friel and one from Emmet Friars sees Ballymena come from behind to beat Warrenpoint and secure a second successive league win.

    They made it harder than it should have been, but Cliftonville hang on at Solitude to get a much-needed win.

    Garry Breen and Joe Gormley struck for the home side before Dungannon hit back through Chris Hegarty, which signalled a nervous final 15 minutes for the home side, who dug deep to come away with the points.

    Linfield continue their domination of the Belfast derby against Glentoran with a 1-0 win thanks to Aaron Burns's fifth-minute goal.

    That's five wins out of five for David Healy's charges while the Glens suffer a first Premiership defeat of the campaign.

    All over at Ferney Park as Crusaders administer a merciless spanking to sweep past Mallards. Paul Heatley was in inspired form, netting a hat-trick to travel back to the Shore road with the match ball.

    Coleraine maintain their 100% record in the Premiership with a sixth straight win. An impressive second-half display by Oran Kearney's men. With Linfield beating Glentoran, the Bannsiders lead the table by three points - although David Healy's men have a game in hand.
