  1. CLOSE!published at 16:13 British Summer Time 9 September 2017

    Cliftonville 1-0 Dungannon

Cormac Burke comes agonisingly close to producing the perfect response to going behind. He's been lively, and he skipped past a few challenges before unleashing a brilliant drive that clattered the crossbar.

We've checked and the upright is indeed still shaking. He couldn't have done much more. Cliftonville breathe again.

  2. CLOSE!published at 16:12 British Summer Time 9 September 2017

    Warrenpoint Town 1-1 Ballymena Utd

Tony Kane heads wide with the first chance of the first half.

  3. Bradley misses Bannsiders chancepublished at 16:09 British Summer Time 9 September 2017

    Ards 0-0 Coleraine

After both sides are guilty of squandering possession after the restart, Eoin Bradley runs on to a hoof from out of his own defence but his shot is straight at Aaron Hogg. The former Derry GAA player should have done better.

  4. goal

GOALpublished at 16:07 British Summer Time 9 September 2017

    Cliftonville 1-0 Dungannon

Garry Breen heads home for the opener at Solitude!

Well, the sense of relief is palpable around the ground as the big defender finds the back of the net with an excellent diving header.

Rodney McAree won't be best pleased, though, as it was a soft foul on Rory Donnelly that conceded a free-kick on the edge of the area. Joe Gormley's free-kick was deflected and the Reds scored from the resulting corner. Certainly preventable, the Dungannon manager will be thinking.

  7. OVER!published at 15:47 British Summer Time 9 September 2017

    Cliftonville 0-0 Dungannon

Joe Gormley doesn't quite have his shooting boots on yet today - he screams forward before launching a right-footed effort high, wide and not very handsome at all. He turns around and hangs his head. It's been that kind of day so far.

  8. CLOSE!published at 15:44 British Summer Time 9 September 2017

    Cliftonville 0-0 Dungannon

The hosts are finishing the half on the front foot. Tomas Cosgrove weaves his way down the right flank and crosses for Rory Donnelly, who sees his effort brilliantly tipped over the bar by Addis.

That's the closest we've come to a goal here.

  9. goal

GOALpublished at 15:42 British Summer Time 9 September 2017

    Ballinamallard 0-2 Crusaders

Crusaders have doubled their lead through Philip Lowry, who finished smartly from close-range under the keeper following another throw-in.

With only a few minutes left in the half, that might just be enough to kill Mallards' hopes of a comeback. Both goals have been disappointing from a Mallards perspective and Dykes will definitely demand a more resolute showing after the break.

  10. CLOSE!published at 15:38 British Summer Time 9 September 2017

    Ards 0-0 Coleraine

Coleraine are starting to produce sustained pressure in Bangor with defender David Elebert the latest to go close as his back-header goes inches wide of Aaron Hogg's left-hand post. Moments earlier, Brad Lyons had a close-range effort blocked on the line.

  11. CLOSE!published at 15:38 British Summer Time 9 September 2017

    Linfield 1-0 Glentoran

Roy Carroll is on hand again to block a John McGuigan effort.

  12. SAVE!published at 15:36 British Summer Time 9 September 2017

    Cliftonville 0-0 Dungannon

Brett Long hasn't had much to do in the first-half but he flies through the air to stop McMenamin's header. It was comfortable for the Reds keeper - one for the cameras.

  13. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:35 British Summer Time 9 September 2017

    Warrenpoint Town 1-1 Ballymena Utd

Jonny Parr makes a fine save from Conor McCloskey.

  14. Fewer chancespublished at 15:33 British Summer Time 9 September 2017

    Linfield 1-0 Glentoran

Clearcut chances at more of a premium at the National Stadium now after those flurry of scoring opportunities at both ends following Burns's opener.

Plenty of effort and endeavour mind you. Linfield having the better of it but Glentoran holding their own.

  15. CLOSE!published at 15:32 British Summer Time 9 September 2017

    Ballinamallard 0-1 Crusaders

Heatley almost gets his second of the afternoon but his effort is impressively pushed wide by Brush. Crusaders look like a slick, free-flowing attacking unit today and it certainly looks as though there are more goals in this one for them.

  16. CLOSE!published at 15:30 British Summer Time 9 September 2017

    Warrenpoint Town 1-1 Ballymena Utd

Kyle Owens heads just over for Ballymena as the Sky Blues go in search of their second goal.

  17. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:29 British Summer Time 9 September 2017

    Linfield 1-0 Glentoran

Linfield appeal for a handball by a Glentoran player inside the area but referee Arnold Hunter is having none of it.

  18. Swifts look menacing on the breakpublished at 15:28 British Summer Time 9 September 2017

    Cliftonville 0-0 Dungannon

The Reds have edged it, yes, but Dungannon have been anything but spectators. They're clearly set up to hit Cliftonville on the counter and there have been a couple of glimpses of the pace and skill they possess up front in McElroy and Burke.

Their speed of thought and ability to drop the shoulder and change direction has caused their opponents one or two problems. It's just a case of finding that telling final pass.

  19. Bannsiders starting to threatenpublished at 15:22 British Summer Time 9 September 2017

    Ards 0-0 Coleraine

It's starting to liven up in Bangor and it's Coleraine who are doing the pressing. Firstly, Eoin Bradley believes he should have had a penalty after tumbling in the penalty area. Referee Tim Marshall awards a corner and once again O'Donnell is left totally unmarked in the box but in a carbon copy of the first incident, he manages to direct the ball well wide. What is going on in the Ards defence?

  20. OVER!published at 15:21 British Summer Time 9 September 2017

    Ballinamallard 0-1 Crusaders

It's been a sorry old start for the Mallards. They've been powerless to stop a series of meaningful surges forward by Crusaders but Colm McLaughlin has just registered the home side's first effort on goal. Unfortunately, it's far too high and sails over.

Fairly comfortable for Crusaders up to this point.
