  1. MISS!published at 16:33 British Summer Time 30 September 2017

    Cliftonville 0-2 Linfield

Well it just hasn't been Gormley's day as another chance goes begging. The forward did well to engineer some space in the box but fired his effort against the Linfield defender and out for a corner.

  2. Bannsiders bandwagon continues to rollpublished at 16:33 British Summer Time 30 September 2017

    Ballymena Utd 0-2 Coleraine

Just over 15 minutes left at Warden Street and Coleraine are poised to chalk up another three points to stay top of the pile in the Premiership. Eoin Bradley barges clear and rifles low on goal but Sky Blues keeper Conor Brennan makes the block to maintain slim hopes of getting something from this derby for the hosts.

  3. goal

GOALpublished at 16:28 British Summer Time 30 September 2017

    Cliftonville 0-2 Linfield

Burns doubles the lead from the penalty spot!

That could be the killer blow. It looked like Cliftonville had been given a lift after Jay Donnelly's introduction, but fighting back now might be beyond their reach.

Jamie McGovern brought Burns down and there could be no complaints about the decision. Burns stepped up and the shot had too much power for Neeson, who could only palm the ball into the net.

  4. Lull at Solitudepublished at 16:24 British Summer Time 30 September 2017

    Cliftonville 0-1 Linfield

Very little life to the game at the moment, which will suit Linfield just fine. No pace or rhythm from either side at the moment and Barry Gray has decided it's time to make a change, with Jay Donnelly coming on to replace Lavery with just under 30 minutes remaining.

  5. Mallards pushing for the breakthroughpublished at 16:18 British Summer Time 30 September 2017

    Ballinamallard 0-0 Ards

They may have a numerical disadvantage, but Ballinamallard are pressing for an opener. Ryan Curran shot wide from a decent position. A few minutes later, Curran finds himself with an even better chance to score, rounding Hogg only to fire his effort into the side-netting.

    Mallards should be ahead.

    Cliftonville 0-1 Linfield

Gormley turns sharply inside the area and gets his shot away but it lacks power and is no trouble for Carroll at his near post.

    Ballymena Utd 0-1 Coleraine

Here is that Coleraine goal - Stephen O'Donnell getting the finish in the 32nd minute.

  9. goal

GOALpublished at 16:11 British Summer Time 30 September 2017

    Warrenpoint Town 2-1 Carrick Rangers

Stephen Murray bursts through and fires low under keeper Harry Doherty to put Town in front a minute into the second half. It's a first goal of the season for Murray and a fine comeback from the hosts after trailing early in the Milltown game.

  10. Opening up at Solitudepublished at 16:11 British Summer Time 30 September 2017

    Cliftonville 0-1 Linfield

Cliftonville are beginning to find themselves in pockets of space high up the pitch and you would have to think that would suit the Reds. They have had numerous crosses into the box this afternoon but without ever really testing Carroll. Need to find that cutting edge.

    Quote Message

It's been an indifferent half from Ballymena. Their forwards are not holding the ball up - they are not doing their jobs. The Sky Blues need a big shake-up. Coleraine are deservedly ahead at the break and they could be further in front. Territorially most of the play has been in the Ballymena half.

In the last piece of action before the half-time whistle, Chris Casement fires his 25-yard free-kick just wide. Good effort to lift it over the wall, just lacking the accuracy.

  20. RED CARDpublished at 15:46 British Summer Time 30 September 2017

    Ballinamallard 0-0 Ards

Josh McIlwaine is sent off for a second yellow card and the Mallards are down to ten men! It was a reckless challenge on Guillame Keke and the referee had no choice. It heaps the misery on the Mallards, whose chase for a first win this season becomes that little bit more complicated.
