    Breaking

    Everton v Lyon (20:05 BST)

    Everton

Everton make five changes - there's no Wayne Rooney or Gylfi Sigurdsson as Kevin Mirallas gets a rare start.

Everton: Pickford; Holgate, Keane, Williams, Martina; Davies, Schneiderlin; Mirallas, Klaassen, Vlasic; Calvert-Lewin

  3. When the Belgrade fog saved Milan...published at 18:53 British Summer Time 19 October 2017

Here's a chance for me to shoe-horn in a piece I wrote about Red Star a few years ago. I'm taking it.

Did you know the Belgrade fog once almost cost the great AC Milan side some of their greatness?Read all about it here.

"Everything was even in the three games against Milan," Dragan Stojkovic told me.

"We played very good football so who knows what the limit of that Red Star team was. Maybe we could have reached the final if we beat Milan? Blame the fog for that."

  4. Elsewhere around Europepublished at 18:48 British Summer Time 19 October 2017

What's happening elsewhere in Group H? Over in Belarus it is still goalless between BATE Borisov and German visitors Koln - good news for both Arsenal and Crvena Zvezda.

In Group L, Real Sociedad have lost five of their past six Europa League games on the road - they will be furious if they lose again tonight. The Spanish La Liga side are 3-0 up at Vardar, who are still winless after becoming the first Macedonian side to reach the group stage of a Uefa competition.

Group K table-toppers Nice and Lazio are still level at 1-1, while Athletic Bilbao, Salzburg, Zenit St Petersburg and Zorya Luhansk all lead in their matches.

    Crvena Zvezda 0-0 Arsenal

Arsenal force a free-kick and then a corner as they try and squeak a goal before the break - but it runs out of play.

  7. Postpublished at 40 mins

    Crvena Zvezda 0-0 Arsenal

Enterprising run from Reiss Nelson, not sure he ever had it fully under control but he gets past two or three players before finding Jack Wilshere to his left. Again, Wilshere is a bit ring rusty, he doesn't pop the ball off quickly enough and it's intercepted.

David Thackeray: Walcott, Wilshere and Giroud really must show an effort if they have ambitions to get regular starts.

Craig Smith:#Nelson, external has impressed as looks a prospect but #MaitlandNiles, external again just does not. #Walcott, external as usual showing his limitations

  9. Postpublished at 35 mins

    Crvena Zvezda 0-0 Arsenal

As early kick-offs in the Europa League go this has been decent. A draw here wouldn't do Arsenal any harm - they are currently top of the group two points ahead of their hosts.

  10. GREAT SAVE!published at 31 mins

    Crvena Zvezda 0-0 Arsenal

Zvezda pumping up the volume now! They get clear down the right, not the best defending from Ainsley Maitland-Niles, and the ball is pulled down at the back post by Nemanja Radonjic, he swivels and connects brilliantly but Petr Cech is behind it all the way. Strong save.

What have Arsenal, AC Milan, Nice, Lazio and Ostersund all got in common? If you read our 18:14 entry you can probably guess...

That's right, the Swedish minnows - managed by Englishman Graham Potter - have also won both of their opening group games.

However... they are already a goal down to 2012 winners Athletic Bilbao. Veteran striker Aritz Aduriz slotted in the opener after a mistake by the home defence.

Elsewhere, Athletic's fierce rivals Real Sociedad are leading at Macedonian side Vardar, former European champions Marseille have fallen behind to Portuguese visitors Vitoria, while Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem have equalised across the Belgian border at Zulte Waregem.

Incendiary noise as Francis Coquelin leaves Filip Stojkovic in a crumpled heap in midfield. He was off the floor, lunging in - but won the ball cleanly. No foul given.

  13. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 26 mins

    Crvena Zvezda 0-0 Arsenal

Close for the hosts as Richmond Boakye meets a teasing cross as the near post but Petr Cech does really well to scoop it out.

And from the corner Boakye heads down and against the crossbar! Cech didn't even see that one...

  14. Postpublished at 25 mins

    Crvena Zvezda 0-0 Arsenal

It's now nine years since Theo Walcott hit a hat-trick down the road* in Zagreb for England.

What a player he looked like he would be then. It's safe to say he hasn't really kicked on.

    Corner Red Star.

*Quite a way down the road, I know...

  15. Postpublished at 22 mins

Arsenal controlling possession now. The best chance remains that shot Theo Walcott had.

  16. Postpublished at 20 mins

    Crvena Zvezda 0-0 Arsenal

The bar for this particular landmark is set very low indeed, but this is easily the best atmosphere I've ever heard at a Europa League game. Smoldering.

Jack Wilshere is down wearing a pained expression as his foot is trodden on. That is painful indeed. He's able to carry on.

  17. Postpublished at 15 mins

    Crvena Zvezda 0-0 Arsenal

Jack Wilshere thinks he's fouled in midfield but referee Benoit Bastien waves play on and Nenad Krsticic drags a shot wide from 30 yards. The wrong decision.

  18. CLOSE!published at 14 mins

    Crvena Zvezda 0-0 Arsenal

Huge chance, and Arsenal should be ahead. A free-kick is just not dealt with by the hosts, they criminally let the ball bounce and Rob Holding's shot deflects into the path of Theo Walcott. He's in oceans of space inside the area, but his shot, left-footed, is really tame and Milan Borjan saves with his feet.

Get some power behind it man! That was poor.

  19. Elsewhere around Europepublished at 18:14 British Summer Time 19 October 2017

Arsenal aren't the only side aiming to extend their 100% winning start in this season's Europa League.

Seven-time European champions AC Milan, along with seven other sides, are also trying to maintain their perfect record at the halfway point.

The Giallorossi, who lost in the Milan derby on Sunday, host AEK Athens at the San Siro later (20:05 BST).

Either Nice or Lazio, who meet in the south of France, will see their winning start ended... and it is already 1-1! Mario Balotelli (who else?) equalises for the home side after Felipe Caicedo - another former Manchester City striker - put the Italian side ahead.

Zenit St Petersburg started their home tie against Rosenborg as the joint-top scorers in the 2017-18 group stage. Two minutes later they became the outright leading scorers when Argentine midfielder Emiliano Rigoni fired in the opener.

I'm sticking Red Star on my list of 'European grounds to tick off.'

It looks and sounds absolutely superb.

Captain Mitchell Donald clears an Arsenal corner and the hosts counter at pace, winning a corner of their own but it comes to nothing.
