  2. 'Disappointing'published at 19:48 British Summer Time 16 September 2017

    Tottenham 0-0 Swansea

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino, speaking to Match of the Day: "Very disappointing because we did everything to win. We created chances and dominated the game but were a little unlucky.

"I am happy with the performance although it is another game we draw here at Wembley and that is no good.

"I like to talk about my team, we created a lot of chances to score. It is true after the draw to say well done to Swansea and congratulate them for taking a draw."

On Serge Aurier's penalty appeal: "It is so clear. What is not clear why Mike Dean justify in front of our players that it was handball but it was not handball. If you are not sure about the situation then why say it was handball? It was unlucky but we need to look at ourselves and try to be better next time and score before this situation.

"It was unlucky for us. We did not get the one penalty we deserved. In that situation the referee had a no good afternoon."

The point does nudge Tottenham ahead of Huddersfield in the table.

It still blows my mind seeing Huddersfield in the Premier League and it is even more amazing seeing them in the top six.

Credit to the Terriers, they are not looking out of place in the top flight so far.

  4. 'You can get a result here'published at 19:38 British Summer Time 16 September 2017

Swansea manager Paul Clement, speaking to Match of the Day: "I am very proud of the players and the effort they put in to get the result. I said to be confident in your defending and if you do that, and are nice and compact, you can get a result here.

"I am confident in this group that if they execute what they did in training they can do well."

"We played a very good side that came off the back of a very good result in the Champions League."

On Renato Sanches: "Sanches is rebuilding confidence after a turbulent year at Bayern. We knew he wouldn't be lighting things up straight away here, he is getting used to the pace of the Premier League. It takes a bit of time to get up to speed."

  5. Postpublished at 19:37 British Summer Time 16 September 2017

    Tottenham 0-0 Swansea

Swansea midfielder Sam Clucas told BT Sport: "It's a big pitch and Spurs made it bigger, so we had to stay compact. We owed ourselves and the fans a performance after last week and we dug in.

"All the midfield helped each other. We had to do a lot of work without the ball and we had to dig in."

Swansea forward Tammy Abraham on BT Sport: "It's a fantastic result. We knew what we were coming into and that there'd be limited chances. We stuck together and fought until the end.

"We came in at half-time saying we had to stay in the game and that's what we did.

"It was scary watching it from the sides at the end but I trusted the boys."

Tom McQuillin: Swansea showing why 0-0 should be given 0 points. No ambition.

Midfield General: Some of the Spurs players are called world class. Displays like that will demonstrate they're nowhere near.

Wow. He's leathered that! The corner's come in and it drops to Trippier. It almost suits a left-footed strike and it's inches wide.

Hmmm replays suggest that call was harsh on Tottenham. Serge Aurier appeared to chest the ball before he was clipped by Jordan Ayew. Swansea get away with that one.
