Oh oh. Marcus Rashford is down injured. He seems to have hurt his groin following a tackle by Mamadou Sakho.

The fans whistle as they want Palace to kick the ball out of play. But they don't.

Bakary Sako - is it a shot? Is it a cross? It's miles wide whatever it was.

Chris Waddle on 5 live says "the game has fizzled out". He's expecting to see some United changes soon.

Matt Kowech on Twitter: Didn't think I'd ever see this but it's happening - Fellaini on a hat trick. Villain to hero.

Bakary Sako has the ball for about 20 seconds on the left wing just waiting for a team-mate to get himself in a good position. He waits and waits and waits. Eventually he just plays it short to Andros Townsend.

For years it was Rooney. Now it's Pogba. Utd always seem to have a marquee player who unbalances the side and creates more problems than they solve. Utd look much better in the games since Pogba's been out.

Marouane Fellaini's first two-goal performance for Manchester United has been well received at Old Trafford - particularly by the club's programme editor.

Normally features with players are the trigger for them to be dropped.

    Not today.

Bakary Sako crosses to Jeffrey Schlupp, whose poor header doesn't even go out of play. Palace keep it in but Patrick van Aanholt and Yohan Cabaye have a mix-up and it's out for a goal-kick.

    Man Utd 3-0 Crystal Palace

A worrying thing for Palace is that Romelu Lukaku has scored in all but one of United's games this season - and he hasn't scored yet today. He gets the ball in the box but tries to take a touch instead of shooting first time and the visitors clear.

Is there anything Marouane Fellaini can't do? (Don't tweet me to tell me all the things he can't do). This is good though, he runs back about 60 yards to track Jeffrey Schlupp's run and eventually gets the ball off the Palace man.

Marouane Fellaini is chasing a hat-trick now. He has almost 40 minutes left to achieve it.

Palace could actually have had a penalty as Chris Smalling pulls back Bakary Sako in the penalty area.

    Marouane Fellaini

Oh Crystal Palace, you are just awful.

Marcus Rashford takes a free-kick from the left wing, which Marouane Fellaini - unmarked about four yards out - heads home.

This could end up with any score. Well any score that involves United winning comfortably.

    Man Utd 2-0 Crystal Palace

Romelu Lukaku finds Henrikh Mkhitaryan down the right and his cross goes past about three players before ending up at Marcus Rashford. The youngster shoots but Joel Ward throws himself at the ball to stop an effort which could well have been going in.

Marcus Rashford burns Joel Ward again for pace and skill, his cross finds Romelu Lukaku but Palace just about get it out for a corner.

  17. KICK-OFFpublished at 46 mins

    Man Utd 2-0 Crystal Palace

Second half is under way. Will Palace improve? Will United score a few more goals?

    Man Utd 2-0 Crystal Palace

Manchester United have never lost a Premier League game against Crystal Palace in 16 previous meetings (W13 D3 L0). I don't think that run is going to end here.

They have won 10 consecutive home top-flight matches against Palace, conceding just two goals in that time – both in the same game, a 5-2 win in December 2004.

    Man Utd 2-0 Crystal Palace

Palace have one striker on the bench - 24-year-old Freddie Ladapo, who has yet to make his debut for the club. His last match was for Shrewsbury against Walsall in April.

Most of his career goals have come for Grays Athletic and Margate.
