    Wilfried Zaha (45 mins)

What a good goal that is! Credit to Mamadou Sakho, who comes deep into the Chelsea half to pinch the ball from Willian and then find Wilfried Zaha on the left of the area. He drives into a gap and then clips a shot into the far corner!

    Mame Biram Diouf

Wait! The comeback could be on...

Stoke give themselves hope as Mame Biram Diouf - briefly a Manchester United player once upon a time - collects Jese's neat flick and loops a deflected shot over hoem keeper Ederson.

  3. goal

GOAL - Swansea 1-0 Huddersfieldpublished at 15:42 British Summer Time 14 October 2017

    Tammy Abraham

Sloppy, sloppy play from Huddersfield. And they have been clinically punished.

Terriers keeper Jonas Lossl makes a dog's dinner of his clearance, trying to pass out to right-back Tommy Smith, allowing Tom Carroll to nip in and intercept.

He squares to Tammy Abraham and the Chelsea loanee slams in his third Premier League goal.

    Burnley 0-1 West Ham

How are West Ham coping without the big man? Pretty well actually. They haven't changed defensive shape too much, only now they have Javier Hernandez alone up top without Andy Carroll.

Burnley are being restricted to long-range efforts at the moment.

Looks like refs/modern football is ruling out jumping from the game this season. Ridiculous decision to send off Carroll.

  6. CLOSE!published at 15:41 British Summer Time 14 October 2017

    Crystal Palace 1-1 Chelsea

Don't stand off Andros Townsend in space! The winger has a pocket of room to explore just outside of the area and his left-footed strike is just wide.

With games like this at Wembley the crowd usually start to think about making paper aeroplanes...

    Swansea 0-0 Huddersfield

Still not much going on in Swansea. Huddersfield's Tom Ince has been trying his best though to spark something. The winger fires over from close range and then asks for a penalty seconds later. Ref Paul Tierney is having none of it.

Ahnaf Tahmed Faiz‏: If Carroll is getting sent off for using his elbows when jumping I don't expect him to last 90 mins for any match.

DZW: If they gave 2nd assists in football like they do in ice hockey, De Bruyne would have about 40 in a season. Absolutely unfair.

  10. ouch!

Moses offpublished at 15:38 British Summer Time 14 October 2017

    Crystal Palace 1-1 Chelsea

And that is that for Victor Moses. Chelsea's injury list gets a plus one as Moses pulls up. On will come Davide Zappacosta on the right.

  11. CLOSE!published at 15:35 British Summer Time 14 October 2017

    Crystal Palace 1-1 Chelsea

Chelsea have been second best for large periods of the half but they are close to going ahead. Good play from former Eagles man Victor Moses on the right, his low cross is dummied in the middle and Marcos Alonso has a shot turned away for a corner.

From the corner Michy Batshuayi heads over.

  12. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:35 British Summer Time 14 October 2017

    Burnley 0-1 West Ham

Burnley's players are convinced they should have a chance to equalise from the penalty spot. We reckon they are right.

Chris Wood latches onto a through ball, taking a touch around the on-rushing Joe Hart and then tumbling to the turf. Did Hart get the ball? Looked like the only thing he touched was Wood's ankles...

I think the first yellow card is debatable, but there's no discussion to be had about the second one.

When you've done it two minutes earlier, why do it again? Carroll could have cost his team here.

    Tottenham 0-0 Bournemouth

Spurs regularly have all 10 outfield players in the opposition half, they squeeze the play up and give Bournemouth nowhere to go. Chance for Harry Kane now, his first, as he breaks the offside trap but his shot is weak.

  16. Postpublished at 15:28 British Summer Time 14 October 2017

    Tottenham 0-0 Bournemouth

Spurs are surely about to open the scoring at Wembley. Christian Eriksen's free-kick is a beauty and Dele Alli's flick could go anywhere. It's cleared away, Eriksen crosses again and it runs right through the goalmouth.

  17. RED CARD - Andy Carrollpublished at 15:27 British Summer Time 14 October 2017

    Burnley 0-1 West Ham

One booking for Andy Carroll for a high elbow is swiftly followed by another. Two yellows = red. West Ham down to 10!

Carroll protests his innocence as he leaves the field, pointing to his head after the second booking. Yeah Andy, you lost yours.

Leading with your elbow in an aerial challenge is asking for trouble. Doing it again about 10 seconds of playing time after the first offence is plain daft.

  18. goal

GOAL - Man City 3-0 Stokepublished at 15:26 British Summer Time 14 October 2017

    David Silva

Go home Stoke fans. Or head into Manchester's Northern Quarter for a few drinks to drown your sorrows. This, we suspect, is only going to get worse.

The Premier League leaders bag their third of the afternoon as David Silva slides in from close range. Again, City find space behind the Stoke defence out wide, Raheem Sterling getting to the right byline and pulling back to his shaven-headed skipper.

    Sue Smith

No one was marking Bakayoko and he's managed to get some good power on the header to score.

Having worked so hard for their first goal of the season, that is just poor from Palace, how are they going to react to that?

Huddersfield keeper Jonas Lossl looked like he was seeing stars at the start of this game after being clattered by Leroy Fer's ungainly challenge, soon after he hit a couple of poorly placed passes to put his team in trouble but then pulled off a wonderful save to deny Tammy Abraham.

A much better start to this game by Swansea than the last time I saw them at home against Watford when they were really poor.
