    Crystal Palace 0-0 Chelsea

A really positive start from Palace. Patrick van Aanholt gets around the back out wide but his dangerous cross is well hacked away.

    Tottenham 0-0 Bournemouth

There was a bit of pre-match chat that we may have a Premier League attendance record at Wembley today but it doesn't look especially full. Jan Vertonghen shows his left-back props with a nice dragback but he can't get a cross over.

    Man City 0-0 Stoke

Manchester City are looking to extend a 19-match unbeaten home run in all competitions. And they have scored five goals in each of their past two home games.

Unsurprisingly they are full of confidence at the Etihad and have started well today. Raheem Sterling's cross-shot is grabbed by England team-mate Jack Butland in the Stoke goal.

  4. CLOSE!published at 15:04 British Summer Time 14 October 2017

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Chelsea

Chance for Palace! This is not a drill! Wilfried Zaha, back today from a lengthy injury absence, gets into the area, wriggles away from Gary Cahill and hits a low shot which is well saved by the sprawling Thibaut Courtois!

    Swansea 0-0 Huddersfield

    Alistair Bruce-Ball
    BBC Radio 5 live

Swansea boss Paul Clement isn't shying away from the importance of this game and actually says he welcomes the pressure now rather than it getting really cranked up at the end of the season like it did six months ago.

"We need to look at every game as though we are fighting for our footballing lives. We have got to put that pressure on ourselves now so we can get good performances and good results to ensure we are not in those really high-pressure situations at the end of the season."

Former Leicester & Man Utd forward on Final Score

Zaha won't be match fit. He needs to be given plenty of game time, because though he might have been good in training it makes no odds - this is Premier League football. He'll find today tough.

I fear for Palace. While other teams in the league have improved and strengthened, Palace have simply stagnated.

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Chelsea

Chelsea keep the ball for a long time but when Crystal Palace win it back they have no options up front at all. Mamadou Sakho has no other option but to launch it downfield.

    Man City 0-0 Stoke

We have a breakthrough at the Etihad. Manchester CIty right-back Kyle Walker has just put his boot through an advertising hoarding. Unlucky for that company who has spent thousands of quid on promoting themselves...

Crystal Palace v Chelsea (15:00 BST)

    Mark Lawrenson
Former Liverpool defender on Football Focus

Crystal Palace's system under Frank de Boer didn't help and when you start with draws and losses it's difficult. But a lot of it is down to the players at the club.

    Tottenham v Bournemouth (15:00 BST)

Jan Vertonghen broke Belgium's record for appearances in midweek - playing left-back. He'll be fine there.

While the Manchester City, Stoke, Spurs and Bournemouth players spread themselves out in luxurious tunnels, their Palace and Chelsea counterparts bump shoulders and jostle for position in the tight entrance at Selhurst Park.

Almost show time... But not before Man City sub Ilkay Gundogan has a good sing-along to Hey Jude...

  13. Vertonghen at left-back?published at 14:54 British Summer Time 14 October 2017

    Tottenham v Bournemouth (15:00 BST)

    Jonathan Overend
BBC Radio 5 live at Wembley

Huddle in the warm up for Spurs. Could they be getting their heads round a change of system? With Ben Davies ill, Jan Vertonghen spent much of the warm up crossing from the left which could mean four at the back.

Davies' replacement, Son Heung-min, warmed up doing a lot of link work with Harry Kane so, presumably, is going to play in a more advanced position.

We've seen it many times before - promoted sides can have fantastic starts, because of momentum form the previous season plus the surge of excitement at playing at big stadiums.

But Huddersfield are realistic - they want to finish the season one spot above the relegation zone. And at the moment they are on track to survive.

Crystal Palace v Chelsea (15:00 BST)

The eagle has landed. One of English football's greatest bits of pre-match entertainment is in full flight. Palace mascot Kayla swoops across the pitch from the Holmesdale End to the Whitehorse Lane stand, delighting many of the fans perched there... and scaring the daylights out of one poor kid who thinks he is about to have his nose pecked.

  16. 'A big deal for Palace today is the return of Zaha'published at 14:48 British Summer Time 14 October 2017

Crystal Palace v Chelsea (15:00 BST)

    Ian Dennis
Football commentator at Selhurst Park for 5 live Sport

Roy Hodgson has had at least six players away on international duty, so I'm not too sure that he'll have been able to work fully with his new squad over the last two weeks.

But a big deal for Palace today is the return of Zaha, and his presence in today's matchday squad is a big boost for everyone here at Selhurst Park.

  17. Postpublished at 14:48 British Summer Time 14 October 2017

    Tottenham v Bournemouth (15:00 BST)

Why are all the Spurs fans wearing red shirts? Ohhhh, they are empty seats. I'm sure will turn to white-shirted home fans in the next 15 minutes.

The Tottenham players gather in a huddle, right-back Kieran Trippier seemingly leading the chat, before finishing off their warm-ups.

"Come on lads, let's put this Wembley hoodoo to bed," was probably the gist.

Tottenham have dropped seven points in their three league games at Wembley. They only dropped four points at White Hart Lane last season.

Funny you mention dire, Trev. That leads me nicely onto telling you that the BIG lunchtime kick-off between Liverpool and Manchester United ended goalless.

That means a home win for Manchester City will stick Pep's boys two points clear at the top.
