Stoke huffed and puffed but even with the wind behind them in the second half they coudn't topple the Cherries' house.

Bournemouth break and come close to sealing the game as a cross from the right flies in front of everyone, including Benik Afobe. Ball is at the right end of the pitch as far as they are concerned, though.

Jese is the man for Stoke here. Looks dangerous whenever he gets the ball. He wins his side a corner, which prompts some pinball at the near post before Nathan Ake hammers the ball clear.

It is all one-way traffic, though. The ball is not sticking at all up front for the away side.

Huge screams for a Stoke penalty as Jese is felled by a sliding tackle from Adam Smith. If he got a bit of the ball it was a tiny touch. Got a lot of the man. Corner is the decision.

It is a vicious subsequent delivery into the box but Bournemouth survive.

Bournemouth are dug in like an Alabama tick. Stoke deliver a number of times from wide areas over a period of prolonged pressure but an away head is there to meet it each time. 19 minutes left and counting.

The crowd are getting stuck in now. Every tackle is greeted with either huge cheers or howls, depending on who comes out on top. Lewis Cook commits a foul in midfield and gets dog's abuse and a chatting to from the ref, which ends in a booking.

Eddie Howe looks a worried man.
