He cuts inside and fires a shot that looks to be heading for goal after a deflection but is clawed away by one hand by the Stoke keeper. Brilliant stuff. It has kept City clinging on to this game.

Great save! Asmir Begovic denies Mame Biram Diouf with a tip over after the striker had bought himself a yard in the box for an angled shot.

There is life in Stoke yet.

Bournemouth on the attack once more. They come down the left but when the ball is played into the middle for Afobe, his control lets him down.

Stoke look in trouble every time the Cherries come forward.

Poor. Lys Mousset has options but chooses the worst of them, sending a limp shot from range bobbling well wide.

Mark Hughes is not happy. Not just about the scoreline but also the way the Bournemouth players are dishing out heavy tackles. Not sure he's got a leg to stand on to be honest. Not because Eddie Howe has gone through the back of him but because it's a game of football, with contact and everything.

Bournemouth charge forward again and are a yard or two from a certain third. Jordon Ibe's cross from the left floats just in front of the onrushing Benik Afobe.

Bournemouth have had four touches in the Stoke box. Two of those were in the set up to the first goal, the third was Afobe's just before he was fouled for the spot-kick and the fourth is the penalty kick itself.

Efficient.
