  1. Postpublished at 16:07 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2017

    Southampton 0-0 Burnley

Half-time came at the wrong time for Southampton. They were just starting to take control of matters and produced a couple of chances but the second half has started much how the first did - all the play being contested in midfield.

  2. Postpublished at 16:06 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2017

    Newcastle 0-0 Bournemouth

Good save! Asmir Begovic made a good few in the first half and he's alert again to push over Joselu's header from a corner. Matt Ritchie's second corner is easy for Begovic to come and claim.

  3. Postpublished at 16:05 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2017

    Huddersfield 1-0 West Brom

Big, big gap between the West Brom front two and midfield. Could be a long 45 minutes for Jay Rodriguez and Hal Robson-Kanu unless the Baggies full-backs are feeling fit and are prepared to push up and support.

A couple of minutes into this half and no opportunities yet for either side.

  4. Swansea have 'lost identity'published at 16:05 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2017

    Swansea 0-1 Brighton

    Mark Schwarzer
Ex-Chelsea & Leicester keeper on Final Score

They look like they're struggling under the pressure of their home crowd. For me, Swansea have lost their identity. They look disjointed at times when they play.

  5. Postpublished at 16:05 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2017

    Newcastle 0-0 Bournemouth

Jonjo Shelvey puts in a crunching but fair tackle, the home fans enjoyed that one. Can either side find a breakthrough?

  6. 'There's not really much to talk about!'published at 16:04 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2017

    Southampton 0-0 Burnley

    Alex Scott
Arsenal Ladies & former England international on Final Score

Southampton v Burnley... well, there's not really much to talk about! This needs some spark, and Southampton really are lacking any attacking intent.

Thank you Alex, just what I was thinking...

    Swansea 0-1 Brighton

Glenn Murray is one of only two men to score in the 15:00 kick-offs so far and just before he came back out on to the pitch he was chowing down on some tablets. Painkillers? Extra strong mints?

  8. KICK-OFFpublished at 16:02 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2017

Away we go! Goals, goals, goals (please)...

  9. Postpublished at 15:55 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2017

The second halves of all of these games are going to be electric. Mark my words.

My understanding, having just exchanged texts with the editor of Match of the Day, is that the plan is to show three games, simultaneously, joint last.

Just the two goals in the half then but there has certainly been signs of life at Newcastle. We'll get more I'm sure.

  12. 'Van La Parra hit that so well'published at 15:48 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2017

    Huddersfield 1-0 West Brom

    Mark Schwarzer
Ex-Chelsea & Leicester keeper on Final Score

I don't think Foster sees it. Van La Parra hit that so well and so quickly, Foster doesn't have time to react. Brilliant goal.

GOAL - Huddersfield 1-0 West Brompublished at 15:45 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2017

Rajiv van la Parra (45 mins)

    What a strike!

Rajiv van la Parra doesn't score many, but when he does they are often spectacular.

The winger picks up a pass from Scott Malone 25 yards from goal and curls an effort into the far corner. Ben Foster didn't move.

This strike alone is worth tuning into Match of the Day for.

Looking at the current Premier League scorelines, whoever is editor for tonight's Match of the Day... good luck!

(Chris Waddle, off-mic: "He's probably just resigned!")

  20. CLOSE!published at 15:43 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2017

    Southampton 0-0 Burnley

Nathan Redmond almost exploits one of those gaps in the Burnley defence as he cuts in from the right and fires off a shot between two defenders but Nick Pope makes the save.
