Stoke deserve that equaliser - they have been much better this half.

And by the way, what a great header that is by Peter Crouch. A world-class header, but as everyone watching will wonder, why haven't Leicester got anyone on the near post?

The England manager is watching in the stands... a recall for 36-year-old Peter Crouch is unlikely, isn't it?

The Stoke supporters are now putting as much pressure as they can on the opposing team and the referee, cheering the hosts' successes and booing and complaining loudly about anything that goes against them.

That's not a negative at all - it's exactly what Mark Hughes' men need.

  12. 'Butland was presumably was a bit unsighted'published at 13:52 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2017

    Stoke City 1-2 Leicester City

    Pat Nevin

The oddness of that goal for Leicester was that it comes during Stoke's best period of the game. The hosts have been seeing a lot of the ball but in exerting that pressure they left a hole at the back.

And well done Mahrez, who was helped by his frontmen making runs at key times which confused the Stoke defence. It allowed Mahrez to strike it under Butland's body, who presumably was a bit unsighted by two defenders between himself and the ball.

Kyle: Brilliant game Leicester should be out of sight with the chances they had. Still fancy Leicester to edge it 3-2.

Mike: Wonder what Shaqiri is still doing at Stoke City. Don’t other top European team see his quality? He’s just too good! From a United fan...

Stoke have looked more lively at the start of this second half than they did for most of the first. You get the impression that during the interval the Stoke manager Mark Hughes has told his side to give this more of a go.
