It's been a so-so season for Stoke so far. They need something to spark them into life, otherwise it looks like a season when they'll continue to meander.

Leicester were joyous in their most recent game, and no more so than Demarai Gray who is spectacularly talented. But will be continue to do it game after game? I want to see him doing that every week.

But he has such capability, as we saw against Everton. Get him and Mahrez and Vardy all flying and they will be a side to reckon with once more.

  2. Case for the defencepublished at 12:11 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2017

    Stoke v Leicester (12:30 GMT)

Stoke have the second worst defence in the Premier League this season.

They have conceded 20 goals in 10 games, the second worst record in the division after Crystal Palace.

But they did earn a clean sheet last time out against Watford.

Jack Rozycki: Joe Gomez. Many class performances and he is very young and could be a future England full-back!

Adam I'Anson: John Stones has improved so much this season. Never seen a change happen so fast and so drastically.

Arjun: Ben Davies at Tottenham. Went from being an unimpressive second choice left-back to one of the best full-backs in the league in a season.

    Stoke v Leicester (12:30 GMT)

Stoke have named an unchanged starting XI following their 1-0 win over Watford last Saturday.

Ryan Shawcross has been passed fit to play despite a few concerns he might miss out and there is also a return to the bench for Peter Crouch.

Charlie Adam and Saido Berahino have to sit with the substitutes too.

Leicestermake just one change as defender Ben Chilwell is out with a knee injury and is replaced by Shinji Okazaki.

The striker comes into the side for his seventh Premier League start this season.

The foxes have used just 18 players in the league this season. Only Burnley (17) have used fewer.

  8. 'Pretty sure Leicester will challenge for Europe'published at 11:47 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2017

    Stoke v Leicester (12:30 GMT)

    Steve Wilson
    Match of the Day commentator

Leicester head to Stoke on a nice little run of form, having won three consecutive games for the first time since Craig Shakespeare won his first six as Foxes manager. That's Craig Shakespeare - remember him?

I'm pretty sure that Leicester will be challenging for European places come the end of the season, and I'm pretty sure that would have been the case had they stuck with Shakespeare too.

Stoke's win at Watford has bought Mark Hughes some credit after a tricky run.

Four and a half years in charge of one Premier League club is something of an achievement in these days of almost constant flux. For my money, Hughes is one of the best British managers around - and I reckon chairman Peter Coates knows that too.

Shinji Okazaki of LeicesterImage source, Reuters

Who do you think is the most improved Premier League player so far this season?

Lennon Veasey: Shinji Okazaki at Leicester. He always has the high workrate but he’s got more goals this season now than in the whole of last season, I reckon.

Brian McConkey: I surprise myself by saying this... but Phil Jones at Manchester United.

Joba: The most improved player Arsenal is Aaron Ramsey. He is tackling, gut running and banging in the goals too. A great athlete.

We want to know you side's most improved player this season:

Olly Waterfall‏: The most improved player at Spurs has to be Kieran Trippier, one of the best crossers of the ball in the league.

CJ: As a Crystal place fan, Andros Townsend's absolutely deserving of an England recall to be honest.

Jorge: Alberto Moreno at Liverpool, easily. From being benched at Anfield to being called up to the Spanish national team.

Manchester City v Arsenal (Sun, 14:15 GMT)

Pep Guardiola has handed out some praise to in-form striker Raheem Sterling.

He already has 10 goals in all competitions this season, double his return at the same stage in 2016-17.

"I think he's enjoying scoring goals, he's not scared, he's not afraid to take a risk."
