    Stoke 1-1 Leicester

Players are back out at the Bet365 Stadium, I think both managers might have told their defense to wise up in the second-half, while Stoke will want to man-mark Demarai Gray and avoid conceding a corner.

The game fell into a lull but, oddly enough, after the change of referee things have really opened up.

Leicester have more of the ball, many more corners, many more chances but all for what? It's 1-1, and if anything Mark Hughes will be the happier of the two managers with that scoreline because to be honest Stoke don't deserve it.

That was Shaqiri's first Premier League goal from inside the box since 28 December 2015, with the previous six all coming from outside.

David Thackeray: Not very academic this, but great to watch.

Graham Ball: I can't understand why teams use zonal marking for corners! Stoke nearly conceded from the next corner too!

Rantin' Dave: Claude Puel's sides sure play boring football. If Okazaki is fit, why not start him every game? Demari Gray looks a class act too.

    Corner to Stoke.

    Stoke 1-1 Leicester

Stoke have been struggling at corners and they have come up against the set-piece specialists this season.

Indeed, no team have scored more set-piece goals than Leicester this season, who have seven.

You know what? Both sides' defending has been a shambles in the last 10 minutes. An absolute joke.

That's the second time Stoke have carved through the Leicester back line and, really, that is a wonderful strike from Shaqiri. It was curled home and there was nothing Schmeichel could do.

    Stoke 1-1 Leicester

Shinji Okazaki sends in a teasing cross for Jamie Vardy but Mame Biram Diouf is there to save Stoke, ballooning the ball behind for a corner.

    That could have gone anywhere.

    Xherdan Shaqiri

What a finish by Xherdan Shaqiri and it's a lovely worked goal.

Kurt Zouma passes to Eric Choupo-Moting, who flicks the ball off to Shaqiri who runs into the area and bends his shot into the far left corner.

    Stoke 0-1 Leicester

    Leicester should have a second.

Another Riyad Mahrez corner, this time from the left and again Harry Maguire head it downs Vicente Iborra is there again, but this time Jack Butland saves.

Then Demarai Gray finds the arriving Shinji Okazaki with a cross, but Butland palms away the shot.

Then Iborra has another chance but his header is just over.

The game has burst into action.

  17. 'A good strike by Iborra'published at 13:05 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2017

    Stoke City 0-1 Leicester City

    Pat Nevin
Ex-Chelsea winger at bet365 Stadium for 5 live Sport

    Vicente IborraImage source, AFP/Getty Images

The lead is deserved. That ball, once it bounces down, should have been cleared by the Stoke defence. But it was a good strike by Iborra, on the half-volley, and though Butland got a very strong hand on it you can't blame him for failing to keep it out.

This might kick Stoke into action, but the team that should be ahead now are ahead, and that's Leicester.

  18. goal

GOAL - Stoke 0-1 Leicesterpublished at 33 mins

    Vicente Iborra

Leicester with their second successive corner and they make the breakthrough.

Riyad Mahrez puts it to the far post and Harry Maguire beats Kevin Wimmer in the air to nod the ball down and Vicente Iborra is there to lash a left-foot shot home from close range.

Jack Butland did get a hand to it, but the shot was too hard.

    Stoke 0-0 Leicester

Riyad Mahrez counters for Leicester and his shot rebounds out for a corner.

Harry Maguire and Wes Morgan go up, but again the danger is cleared by the Stoke defence.

  20. 'The shot was poor'published at 13:01 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2017

    Stoke City 0-0 Leicester City

    Pat Nevin
Ex-Chelsea winger at bet365 Stadium for 5 live Sport

Leicester do push forward, which means if you lose possession quickly you can be punished. And Stoke are a team built to counter-attack.

Ramadan Sobhi did well to break through but the shot was poor. These days, especially against a keeper of the ability of Schmeichel, unless the shot is right in the corner it isn't going in.
