With the changes, United have moved to a conventional back four. The three forwards Rashford, Martial and Lukaku are all together - the United fans have wanted this for a few weeks - and now they need to deliver.

Marouane Fellaini gives the ball away with his first touch allowing Alvaro Morata into the box.

He twists left and right but Chris Smalling does well to clear the danger.

Donald: The Azpilicueta - Morata express for the fifth time this season. What a cross. Splendid header.

Ari: Chelsea are brilliant today, where has this Chelsea team been for the past couple of months.

Mark: Can't believe that Mourinho did nothing to stop Chelsea's momentum - goal was clearly coming.

    Chelsea 1-0 Manchester Utd

Here come the changes for Manchester United.

The magician Henrikh Mkhitaryan - who performed a disappearing act today - is taken off and on comes Marouane Fellaini.

Phil Jones is replaced by Anthony Martial.

  6. United 'not playing football'published at 17:47 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2017

    Chelsea 1-0 Manchester Utd

    Phil Neville
Former England & Man Utd defender on BBC Radio 5 live

It seems that United have come out after half time to play deep and try to disrupt Chelsea's rhythm. They've been making too many fouls and it's not worked. In the first half, they played football and it was effective.

Nope, Heurelho Gomes cannot continue, with blood pouring down his face.

Watford's sub goalkeeper Orestis Karnezis is coming on.

  8. CLOSE!published at 17:45 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2017

    Everton 0-1 Watford

    So close for Everton!

Oumar Niasse breaks, sends the ball into the box for Gylfi Sigurdsson, but the Iceland international sees his shot saved by Heurelho Gomes and Wayne Rooney's ball back across from the other side is also ushered away from danger by the Watford keeper.

Gomes is now in some pain after colliding with some loose legs. He might have to continue with a Terry Butcher bandage round his head.

Chelsea's fans were still frustrated at Eden Hazard's miss when Alvaro Morata scored with that towering header.

Jose Mourinho will be mortified at the space and time the Spaniard had to score. Chelsea have really upped the tempo.

Now Manchester United have to come out.

A loss at Stamford Bridge and they will be EIGHT points behind unbeaten leaders Manchester City.

That goal had been coming. Chelsea have burst out of the dressing room this second half and Hazard should have scored two minutes ago. United were all over the place defensively.

Where were the centre-backs? Azpilicueta picked out Morata who was completely unmarked and he's buried the header in the corner. A fabulous header. Antonio Conte is going absolutely crazy.

GOAL - Chelsea 1-0 Manchester Utdpublished at 55 mins

    Alvaro Morata

    Breakthrough.

    It was coming.

Cesar Azpilicueta looks up and puts the ball on a plate for Alvaro Morata to loop in a header to the far post, past the reach of David de Gea.

The Spaniard ends his run of six games without a goal.

Where was the marking though? Morata had the freedom of London there.

  13. CLOSE!published at 17:40 Greenwich Mean Time 5 November 2017

    Chelsea 0-0 Manchester Utd

Chelsea are in control at the moment and looking extremely dangerous.

Cesc Fabregas's cross into the box is an inviting one for Eden Hazard, but the Belgian's shot is helped straight into the hands of David de Gea.

A grimace from Hazard, he knows that was a big opportunity.

That's the third tackle on Hazard in the space of a minute. They're clearly targeting him. United need to be careful now with Jones and Herrera on yellow cards. If they get too many people booked, it will take the intensity out of their game.

Another booking in as many minutes for Manchester United, they are losing their heads at Stamford Bridge.

This time Ander Herrera is the man who has his name taken by Anthony Taylor for treading on Eden Hazard's Achilles.

    Painful.

Clearest yellow card in the history of football.

Eden Hazard teases Phil Jones on the half way line, the England defender loses his cool and lunges in to bring the Belgian down.

    Richarlison

    More problems for Everton.

Watford flying out of the traps after half-time and take the lead.

Brazilian Richarlison collects Andre Gray's pass, goes round goalkeeper Jordan Pickford and slots in an awkward-looking finish at the near post.

    Hahaha,

Referee Anthony Taylor gives a corner, having "seen" a touch by Cesar Azpilicueta on the ball.

Wrong decision, there was no touch.

The corner comes in but suddenly the ref sees a push in the box and awards Chelsea a free-kick.

    How convenient.

Lots of endeavour - even a few chances - but little in the way of inspiration between Chelsea and Manchester United.

Not sure a draw is any use to either Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho so someone will have to blink soon.

    Some goals would be nice.
