A disappointed Crystal Palace defender Scott Dann: "We were the better team throughout so to end up with just the draw is very disappointing.

"Straightaway I didn't think it was a penalty to Everton - I was adamant it wasn't.

"We were clinical in front of goal today and we haven’t been in recent weeks, so it's even more disappointing to have not won that game.

"Every game is a chance to kick-start the season - we have a point out of today, we should have had three, but we have to dust ourselves down and go again."

  2. 'A perfect day'published at 17:08 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp: "Difficult game, Southampton are a really good football side. It was an open game, we had more chances before we scored. We need to be patient in a lively way.

"The first goal, wow, I have nothing to do with the goal and the second was a fantastic pass and Mo Salah makes great runs. We could have scored more often but it was a perfect day for us."

I don't think the scoreline does Manchester City's football justice. It is some of the best football ever played in the history of the Premier League.

Kevin de Bruyne was outstanding but a big plus for City will be the game time for Vincent Kompany.

We've just seen footage of City fans hailing their team - I think they think they are hailing the champions.

  4. 'Can we finish the season now?'published at 17:05 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

Burnley striker Ashley Barnes: "We're on a fantastic run. We're working hard every day and today we were different class.

"Can we finish the season now? No, I'm kidding. there's still a long way to go and we need to pick up as many points as possible."

  5. Too much TP?published at 17:04 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    West Brom 0-4 Chelsea

    Interesting from Ben Foster.

Any West Brom fans who agree that they have been trying to play too much football under Tony Pulis at the moment?!

  6. 'I need to be more selfish'published at 17:03 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Bournemouth 4-0 Huddersfield

Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson on his hat-trick: "It is nice. When you are injured you want your first goal. I need to be more selfish. That is what the top strikers do.

"We work on 10 v 11. We have had to do it for 45 minutes, but credit to the centre-backs. They deserve all the plaudits."

You know the genius of Ronnie O'Sullivan in snooker, where he can choose which hand to play with? Kevin de Bruyne is like that with his feet.

  8. 'Back to basics'published at 17:03 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    West Brom 0-4 Chelsea

    West Bromwich Albion

West Brom goalkeeper Ben Foster: "We started really well but you have to pay credit to Chelsea. In the final third they are electric at times. One-touch movement. They caught us off guard at times.

"The manager said at half time that there is nothing to lose but don't let the floodgates open. Chelsea took their foot off the gas, the damage was already done.

"We could do with something going our way but that's the harsh reality of the Premier League. There are 15 leagues gunning to not get relegated. We have a scrap on our hands, we know that and we have to get back to basics.

"First and foremost we need to be solid and don't concede goals. We have been trying to do too much and teams are punishing us.

"We are second in the league for distance covered. It's not for the want of trying. The manager knows that the fans are not happy but he remains the same. You have to respect that."

  9. Postpublished at 16:59 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Leicester 0-2 Man City

    Manchester City

Manchester City midfielder Kevin de Bruyne: "We controlled the game for 90 minutes. It is not easy against Leicester because they play very direct. We didn't create too many chances but our second half was very good.

"We are feeling confident in the way we are playing. It is a busy schedule but we are doing really well."

  10. 'We're looking at another invincible team'published at 16:56 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

    Leicester 0-2 Man City

    David Pleat
Former Leicester boss at King Power Stadium for 5 live Sport

Claude Puel will have to dismiss this result. Manchester City were so good today. Because of the way they move the ball and their superior talent, they could've won with 10 men today. You have to wonder whether anyone can beat them. I think were looking at another invincible team this season. They have the ability to go all the way unbeaten.

    Chelsea

Chelsea forward Eden Hazard: "Manchester City are winning a lot of games but we want to close the gap. You never know in the Premier League. Last year we won 12 or 13 games in a row so why not again?

"We have to be ready for that."

Chelsea have been very impressive today and Eden Hazard has been on top of his game.

West Brom have been well and truly beaten - it would have been different if they had gone down fighting and lost only 1-0. But the Baggies owners are there watching today, and are they going to give supporters what they want, which would be a new manager?
