They've got to work hard. Manchester City have more talented, technical players and there's no disputing that and to go unbeaten this far in the season is quite remarkable from this group. City are a joy to watch this season so Leicester have to be on their game.

  2. CLOSE!published at 16 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Man City

Lucky City! Lucky Vincent Kompany again!

Riyad Mahrez glides past Fabian Delph and cuts across goal - it's a low cross that could easily ping off a leg and go in but Kompany just about manages to dart it to safety, with the help of his goalkeeper too.

That's the Foxes first real sight of goal.

  3. Postpublished at 14 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Man City

David Silva's taking the brunt of this strong Leicester high line. First Wilfred Ndidi clatters into him, then Riyad Mahrez as the Spaniard twice manages to evade the men looking to chase him down.

  4. CLOSE!published at 12 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Man City

City recycle possession and spark a lightning quick move. In a handful of passes Raheem Sterling is unleashed down the right wing and that is a great intervention from Wes Morgan's stooping head. He blocks a very dangerous cross that was destined for an unmarked David Silva on the penalty spot.

David Silva to take it... Vicente Iborra clears at the front post.

    Leicester 0-0 Man City

City are responding to that high Leicester pressure with some relaxed short passing in the safety of their own half.

They work it wide again now to the bright Leroy Sane, who is cleaned out by Danny Simpson. Free-kick close to the corner.

    Leicester 0-0 Man City

Leroy Sane now with a chance to attack from the flank and pick out a man in the middle. Wilfred Ndidi cuts it out but City come again with Raheem Sterling on the opposite wing and Harry Maguire squeezes in to force the ball behind for a corner.

    Leicester 0-0 Man City

Boos from the home side as Kompany helps the ball from right to left across the bank.

Fernandinho forced into a bad pass. Great early bite from the home side.

  9. YELLOW CARDpublished at 3 mins

    Leicester 0-0 Man City

OOOH. Vincent Kompany is a lucky boy to get away with this.

Leicester play a delicious through ball into Jamie Vardy's channel - Kompany is creaking as he tries to slide and cut it out. He totally misses the ball, takes all of the man, and the questions are: Was Vardy going clear and should that be a red card?

The referee shows Kompany a yellow. Claude Puel is furious on the bench. Pep Guardiola scratches his temple.

    Leicester 0-0 Man City

I thought I'd actually witnessed a misplaced David Silva pass it this short one back to Fabian Delph took a ping off Marc Albrighton.

Good pressing from Leicester, but then Kevin de Bruyne drives through the middle and Foxes manage to clear.

    Mark Lawrenson
    Former Liverpool defender

It will be interesting to see how Foxes manager Claude Puel approaches the game, and whether he leaves Jamie Vardy up front on his own and tries to counter City in midfield.

But anything Leicester get from this game is a bonus, just like it is for any side who play City at the moment.

    Prediction: 0-2

Leicester v Man City (15:00 GMT)

    Leicester City

Leicester manager Claude Puel: "Normally Manchester City are a team with a lot of possession - it's difficult to keep a lot of focus when you run after the ball and in the second half they can score.

"It's important for us to believe in our quality. It's important to think we have fantastic quality.

"We want to see what we can do against this team. We respect them but we don't fear them."

Manchester City are a series of players who are artists. They paint beautiful football for us each and every week, and every game Jesus or Aguero are on the end of it.

  15. Head-to-headpublished at 14:50 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

Leicester v Man City (15:00 GMT)

    • Leicester won last season's corresponding fixture 4-2 and have only lost one of the four most recent meetings.
    • Manchester City have won three of their six Premier League trips to Leicester, drawing two and losing one.

    Garth Crooks
Former Spurs striker on Final Score

Manchester City are playing the sort of football I have never seen before in the Premier League. It is unbelievable.

All credit to Pep Guardiola - he puts into practice things that other managers can only dream about.

I tipped Manchester United at the start of the season... well, I am having to revise my opinion!

  17. 'Perfect? Not quite...'published at 14:45 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

Leicester v Man City (15:00 GMT)

    Manchester City

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola: "I still feel there's things we can do better.

"Okay, if you analyse just the results it's perfect because in two months we won all the games.

"But in terms of playing and knowing what is going to happen in December with the schedule, we have to improve."

  18. Cosmic City, impressive Leicesterpublished at 14:38 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

Leicester v Man City (15:00 GMT)

    Guy Mowbray
    Match of the Day commentator

With Manchester City playing 'cosmic football' (©Noel Gallagher) and on an English record 15-game winning run, their position as top team in the land is (unlike that record), external almost indisputable.

Yet, with Leicester having picked themselves up impressively of late, there are some who believe that this is where the run ends.

Last season's 4-2 win for the Foxes in this fixture surely has some bearing on that, but a lot has changed since that day - one which made Pep Guardiola 'look inside himself', and possibly pivotal in how he has restructured the visiting City.

They'll come this time with a very different team, and with a very different result expected.

  20. Kompany returns for City - team newspublished at 14:33 Greenwich Mean Time 18 November 2017

Leicester v Man City (15:00 GMT)

Leicester make just the one change from the team that drew 2-2 at Stoke on 4 November.

It's Japanese forward Shinji Okazaki who drops to the bench, with winger Marc Albrighton taking his place in Claude Puel's XI.

Leicester XI: Schmeichel, Simpson, Morgan, Maguire, Fuchs, Mahrez, Iborra, Ndidi, Gray, Albrighton, Vardy.

Manchester City make two changes to the team that beat Arsenal 3-1 on 5 November. The big news is Vincent Kompany's return to fitness - he takes Nicolas Otamendi's place at centre-back and captains the side. Raheem Sterling, who dropped out of England's squad with a back injury, starts for Pep Guardiola.

Sergio Aguero though only makes enough for the bench after experiencing a dizzy spell at half-time of Argentina's friendly defeat in Russia on Tuesday. Gabriel Jesus replaces him up front.

Man City XI: Ederson, Walker, Stones, Kompany, Delph, Fernandinho, De Bruyne, Silva, Sterling, Jesus, Sane.
