Ben Chilwell with a surging run from deep, that is superb, he clips in an early cross and there's Shinji Okazaki - over!

He was there for the header but mistimed it and put it over the bar.

Harry Kane is close to meeting a corner for Spurs, who will be right back in contention with a goal early in this second half.

United's defensive shape is really good, the three centre-halves look really good. They aren't all flying forward, and when Ashley Young has gone forward Antonio Valencia has dropped back, and the three have shifted across, and Nemanja Matic is always protecting the back three too. They look solid and really dangerous playing with three at the back. And United have been clinical, their best players have turned up and thought 'let's get this done early tonight'.

    Brighton 0-0 Crystal Palace

Two steps forward, two back for Palace. They look a far better side under Roy Hodgson but are still lacking that clinical touch in the final third. A fine move ends with a wasted cross, before Wilf Zaha is chopped down just as he was looking to pull the trigger.

Zaha scored two huge goals here in the play-offs a few years back.

When you see Ashley Young's free-kick I guarantee that the first thing you say won't be 'the keeper should save that.'

Keepers get a hard time of it.

  6. Defensive errors cost Watfordpublished at 20:51 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November 2017

    Watford 0-3 Man Utd

    Danny Murphy
Former Liverpool midfielder on Radio 5 Live

The free kick was avoidable, because the keeper should save it - if he'd stayed in position he'd have saved it. But the other goals - they're basic defensive errors - and they can be avoided so easily. But in fairness, Watford have put together some good moves and have looked decent going forward.

Half hearted boos from the Watford fans at half-time.

They would have expected much better but, having been beaten by six when Manchester City came earlier in the season, losing heavily at home to a Manchester club is not exactly a new experience.

A lot of people say when Harry Kane isn't firing spurs aren't firing..... in my opinion it's when Toby Alderweireld isn't playing we're lost.

    Watford 0-3 Man Utd

Romelu Lukaku - that's why we love him - the power, the technique to go past a player and get a shot off. And it's a great save initially, and somehow Heurelho Homes has got down to save Jesse Lingard's rebound as well. I know I hammered you for the free kick - but well played there.

    Pick that one out!

What a lovely ball from Jonny Evans first of all, raking from the centre-circle over the top and dead weight for Kieran Gibbs. His first touch is excellent too, out of his feet and allowing him to dink a cross in which Hal Robson-Kanu heads down between teh legs of Karl Darlow.

  16. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:45 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November 2017

    Watford 0-3 Manchester United

What a save! That is brilliant from Heurelho Gomes!

Romelu Lukaku hits a low shot from range, Gomes pushes it away and Jesse Lingard is screaming on to the losoe ball. It looks like it will surely be four but Gomes somehow flies across the goal and tips it over from right under his own crossbar!

    Superb save.

    Cheer up Brian!

This would be a damaging result, no doubt. Spurs are 13 points behind Manchester City but they would only be a point off Arsenal and the top four.

Spurs keeper Hugo Lloris reacts after his side goes 2-0 down against LeicesterImage source, Getty Images

This is yet another season Spurs won’t win the league , despite having what many ‘experts’ consider to be their best team for many years. At this rate they won’t finish in top four so will need to win the Champions League to get back in it next season and that won’t happen either. It looks like the only thing they will be celebrating is a win over a poor Real Madrid team

    Watford 0-3 Manchester United

I'm not sure it's really ever possible to play quite well and be 3-0 down at half-time but Watford have looked decent for most of the game. As I say that, Anthony Martial is fouled and Ashley Young lines it up.

Marcos Rojo is the weak link for United at the moment. Every time the ball's come near him he's dropped off, dropped off, he doesn't want anyone getting in behind him - but he's picked up a booking there - he'll have to be careful now.
