    Manchester City 0-0 Southampton

Kevin de Bruyne is at the heart of most of City's good play, but they are missing David Silva in there if you ask me. De Bruyne pings a curler from range but it's easy for Fraser Forster.

  2. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:40 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2017

    Stoke 0-1 Liverpool

    Simon MignoletImage source, Reuters

BIG escape for Liverpool. Simon Mignolet comes out of his box and hacks down Mame Biram Diouf. Joel Matip was next to him, but Diouf could have had a clear shot at goal there. It really, really could be a red card for the Liverpool keeper. So you can imagine his relief when he only sees yellow.

Stoke fans will be even angrier now...

    Stoke 0-1 Liverpool

Not loads happening. Stoke are pinging a lot of balls into Peter Crouch, some nervy moments from Liverpool at the back.

Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting has a sniff of the ball a minute ago but wasn't able to get in a shot.

  4. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:37 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2017

    Manchester City 0-0 Southampton

Vincent Kompany is not at his best tonight and he will now miss the game against West Ham on Sunday after he's booked for bringing down Shane Long. Eli Mangala, you're up.

EDIT - he's not suspended, that's only his fourth booking. Maths is not our strong point...

  5. Moyes frustratedpublished at 20:36 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2017

    Everton 2-0 West Ham

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Goodison Park

This has, so far, been another very unhappy return to Everton for former manager David Moyes, who lost on previous visits with Manchester United and Sunderland.

He is standing arms folded and frustrated in the technical area, with coach Stuart Pearce jumping up to deliver the occasional bark.

  6. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2017

    Everton 2-0 West Ham

Everton's Gylfi Sigurdsson brings down Marko Arnautovic. Yellow card.

  7. CLOSE!published at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2017

    Manchester City 0-0 Southampton

Southampton have now gone close in a rare counter-attack! Nathan Redmond stays onside to latch on down the left, Vincent Kompany is not comfortable in dealing with Mario Lemina and he wins a corner from Ederson.

Virgil van Dijk then nods the corner down and Maya Yoshida shoots over from four yards out!

That's twice they could (Should) have scored from corners!

  8. 'Great desire from Kenny'published at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2017

    Everton 2-0 West Ham

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on Radio 5 live

It's the first bit of exciting football we’ve had all evening, it's a lovely one-two and it falls to Rooney from Jonjoe Kenny's miskick. Kenny started it right from the back and had such desire to keep going and continue into the box. He may have missed his shot but it's fallen to Wayne Rooney and he contributed enormously.

  10. Saints playing for time, already?published at 20:33 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2017

    Manchester City 0-0 Southampton

    Chris Bevan
    BBC Sport at Etihad Stadium

It is not quite happening for City in front of goal so far tonight and the home fans' frustration is evident from their howls of anger whenever Southampton dawdle over a throw-in, free-kick or goal-kick, which is quite often to be fair.

It is safe to say they are not happy with what they perceive to be referee Paul Tierney's lack of action about it either.

  11. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 20:33 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2017

    Stoke 0-1 Liverpool

Peter Crouch wants a penalty as he's held by Dejan Lovren. Referee Martin Atkinson says no. The fans are giving him some earache now - they weren't happy at the decision to let the Reds' goal stand either.

  12. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:31 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2017

    Chelsea 0-0 Swansea

Frustration is the buzzword at Stamford Bridge. Goalless at the break.

Jason: Everton have a talented youngster in Calvert-Lewin but they can't keep pumping the ball long to him. He hasn't been able to win a header tonight or against Southampton last time out!

Rob, Oxford: Allardyce has always been one of the most advanced managers in the Premier League. He has never been given a chance at a top club, and his image is against him.

  16. Postpublished at 20:30 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2017

    Manchester City 0-0 Southampton

A pretty standard 72% possession for Manchester City so far but they haven't been able to cut a way through just yet.

Close for Chelsea - and it's a Swansea player who almost turns it in. Willian crosses and the ball hits Alfie Mawson on the back of his leg. Could go anywhere. Goes wide.

Oh oh. The referee has given a goal-kick and not a corner.

Antonio Conte is furious. And he's sent to the stands.

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Goodison Park

It was in at the second time of asking but Wayne Rooney's header after Joe Hart saved his penalty was just the tonic Everton and a quiet Goodison Park needed.

Rooney has been Everton's stand-out early performer here, controlling affairs from deep positions.

    Stoke 0-1 Liverpool

Just seen another replay of Joe Gomez's cross that led to Liverpool's goal. Still can't tell whether it was out of play or not. We're talking millimeters.

Now Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has a shot, parried by Lee Grant.
