    Mark Lawrenson
    Former Liverpool defender

Stoke are still hovering above the relegation zone after their defeat by Liverpool, but Swansea are in much deeper trouble.

I think we will see a bit of a reaction from Stoke, though, which is why I am backing them to win.

    Prediction: 2-0

One win could lift Swansea out of the bottom three - depending on how Alan Pardrew's West Brom get on at home to Crystal Palace.

The Swans have fared best on the road this season - winning five points away and four at home - but Stoke will be out to improve on their own dismal recent form.

West Brom v Crystal Palace (15:00 GMT)

Crystal Palace have been forced into a very, very late change. Goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey has suffered a back spasm in the warm-up and is out.

Julian Speroni has taken his place, but it means Roy Hodgson now only has five substitutes to work with. They were short already because of illness.

Former Liverpool legend Sammy Lee's appointment as Everton assistant manager has been badly received by the majority of those supporters who still remember his Anfield links.

So it was a significant moment when Everton chairman Bill Kenwright made a point of walking on to the pitch and shaking hands with Lee in front of the Gwladys Street End as the players warmed up.

Nice for Lee, who has worked with new Everton manager Sam Allardyce at Bolton Wanderers, West Ham United and with England, to see a friendly face.

    Leicester v Burnley (15:00 GMT)

    John Roder
    Match of the Day commentator

After impressive midweek victories, Leicester and Burnley will come into this fixture on a high as they enter a crucial month, with seven Premier League matches to be played in December.

Claude Puel has made the impact that Leicester's owners will have wanted when they appointed the Frenchman at the end of October.

He described the win over Tottenham as the best so far of his short spell at the club.

Sean Dyche will continue to be linked with other managerial jobs, but why should he leave when sixth-placed Burnley are clearly one of the success stories so far this season?

Alan Pardew's about to take charge of his first game as West Brom manager against one of his former clubs.

"It's about us today and how we get the crowd up and roaring for us," said the 56-year-old.

"Only some clever organised play is going to do that."

Come on then, Baggies fans. Are you ready to roar?

    • Tottenham are on a seven-game winning streak against Watford in all competitions.
    • The Hornets' last league win against Spurs was by 1-0 in the top flight in May 1987, thanks to a Kenny Jackett penalty.

Both sides come into this game after disappointing midweek results.

Watford are the epitome of a Jekyll and Hyde team, but there's no doubt that Marco Silva has improved them. I imagine everybody at the club breathed a collective sigh of relief when Sam Allardyce was finallyconfirmed as the Everton manager.

Spurs arrive at Vicarage Road in seventh, 16 points adrift of leaders Manchester City. Mauricio Pochettino has already conceded that their title challenge is over, and after collecting one point from their last three games it's hard to disagree.

Toby Alderweireld's injury was always going to be a huge blow to Spurs, but they will be hoping that Erik Lamela's return, external provides a new ingredient to a team which has looked slightly one dimensional in recent weeks.

Dutch left back Marvin Zeegelaar will once again play with a broken nose as Watford aim to make Spurs’ suffering more acute at Vicarage Road. Spurs have just one point from their last nine - although Watford have a lousy record against them having failed to win any of their eight Premier League meetings.

The Watford match programme unsurprisingly highlights Harry Kane as one to watch today. The England striker has a staggering 14 goals in his last eight away games. How Spurs need him to be at the height of his powers today as they seek to end their stuttering form.

England international Jack Butland returns in goal for Stoke - having recovered from a broken finger - so Lee Grant drops to the bench.

That's the only change from Stoke boss Mark Hughes, with Peter Crouch retaining his place up front.

Stoke XI: Butland, Zouma, Shawcross, Martins Indi, Pieters, Fletcher, Allen, Shaqiri, Diouf, Choupo-Moting, Crouch.

Subs: Grant, Wimmer, Berahino, Jese, Afellay, Adam, Sobhi .

Only champions-elect Manchester City boast better current form than Liverpool. Since losing heavily to Spurs in mid-October, Jurgen Klopp's side have taken 13 points from a possible 15. The goals are flying in at one end and have stopped leaking in at the other.

Even when named as a substitute, Mohamed Salah is red hot at the moment and the Premier League's top goalscorer has managed to push Philippe Coutinho and Sadio Mane in to the background.

Brighton haven't lost at home since the opening day. Chris Hughton will be frustrated by four successive draws at the Amex, but I doubt he'll be too disappointed if that run stretches to five.

    Alistair Bruce-Ball

Here’s the lowdown on why Jurgen Klopp has made some of those changes...

Joe Gomez is ill, Joel Matip is injured and Alberto Moreno is rested. Ragnar Klavan is still recovering from his illness so wasn’t ready to start the game but is named among the subs.

Emre Can will play at centre-back and Andrew Robertson plays for the first time since the 19th September.

In his first game since taking over as West Brom manager, Alan Pardew makes just one change to the side that drew 2-2 with Newcastle United on Tuesday.

Matt Phillips has a hamstring injury and is replaced by Jay Rodriguez, while 19-year-old defender Max Melbourne - who is yet to feature for the Baggies in the Premier League - takes a spot on the bench.

Meanwhile, Roy Hodgson makes two changes to the Palace side that earned a first away point of the season at Brighton last time out.

James McArthur and Martin Kelly come in for James Tomkins and Yohan Cabaye.

Damien Delaney had an operation on Friday and joins Lee Chung-yong and Connor Wickham on the sidelines. Scott Dann has fallen ill overnight so Hodgson only has six subs to work with today.
